The soft morning light streamed through the sheer curtains, casting delicate patterns on the bedroom wall. Y/N stirred awake, feeling the warmth of the sun on her face. As she blinked to clear her vision, she remembered that today was a special day—her anniversary with Colby.

Y/N smiled to herself, excitement bubbling in her chest. She couldn't believe it had been a year since she had started dating the charismatic, fun-loving YouTube star. Every moment spent with Colby had been an adventure, filled with laughter and surprises. She had planned a cozy dinner at their favorite restaurant, but little did she know, Colby had something else in mind.

As she got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to freshen up, Y/N noticed a small envelope on the nightstand. It was beautifully decorated with doodles—a telltale sign that Colby had written it. Curious, she opened it and smiled as she read his neat handwriting.
Happy Anniversary, beautiful! Get ready for an unforgettable day. I love you!
Her heart raced at his words. She quickly got dressed, opting for a simple yet cute outfit, and made her way to the kitchen, where the delicious aroma of pancakes wafted through the air.
“Colby?” she called out, stepping into the kitchen. There he was, his back turned to her as he flipped pancakes with the expertise of a chef. He wore his usual casual attire: a graphic tee and joggers, his hair tousled and charmingly messy.
“Good morning, gorgeous!” he beamed, turning around to face her. The moment their eyes met, Y/N felt her heart flutter. Colby was always able to make her feel special, as if she were the only person in the world.

“Wow, is this for me?” she asked, gesturing to the stack of pancakes adorned with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
“Only the best for my girl,” Colby winked, placing a plate in front of her. They settled down at the small breakfast table, laughter filling the air as they shared stories and jokes.
After breakfast, Colby stood up, a mischievous grin on his face. “Ready for your first surprise?”
Y/N’s eyes widened with anticipation. “What is it?”
“Close your eyes,” he instructed, and she complied, trusting him completely. She felt him take her hand, leading her out of the apartment and into his car.
The car ride was filled with Colby's infectious laughter and the sounds of their favorite songs playing on the radio. After a short while, he told her she could open her eyes. They were parked at a beautiful botanical garden, vibrant flowers blooming all around them.
“Oh, Colby! It’s beautiful!” she
exclaimed, taking in the colorful scenery. He smiled, pleased with her reaction. They walked hand in hand through the garden, taking pictures and sharing sweet kisses under the blooming trees.

As they wandered, Colby suddenly stopped, pulling her close. “I have one more surprise,” he said, his voice a mix of excitement and sincerity.
“What is it?” Y/N asked, her heart racing in anticipation.
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small, velvet box. Y/N's breath caught in her throat as he knelt down on one knee, looking up at her with those captivating blue eyes.
“Y/N, this past year with you has been the best of my life. You make me laugh, you inspire me, and you just get me. I can’t imagine my life without you. Will you continue to be my partner in crime, my best friend, and eventually… my forever?”

He opened the box, revealing a delicate silver ring with a small heart-shaped gem that sparkled in the sunlight. Tears of joy welled in her eyes as she realized what he was asking.
“Colby!” she gasped, overwhelmed with emotion. “Yes! Yes, of course, I will!”
Colby slipped the ring onto her finger, and they embraced, the world around them fading away. It was just the two of them, surrounded by love and the promise of a beautiful future.

As they pulled apart, Y/N looked into his eyes, her smile brighter than ever. “You really did make this an unforgettable anniversary.”
Colby grinned, pulling her close again. “And it’s only the beginning.”
With that, they continued their adventure, exploring the garden, taking pictures, and sharing their dreams for the future—a future that they both knew would be filled with love, laughter, and endless adventures together.
