"Have fun tonight, okay" Gemma said as we parked in the back parking lot."Yeah, yeah, I'll try." I said back to her.
"I mean it Marcel c'mon, loosen up and enjoy your last Friday night of summer break." Gemma went on before getting out of the car. "Oh and I don't want you drinking tonight, I'm working to bar so I'll make sure of it." She pointed her finger at me.
"I didn't plan on drinking anyway." I gave her an annoyed look before getting out of the car.
Gemma, my older sister, works at a night club down town and has decided that tonight will be the night that she sneaks me in to celebrate the last few days of summer before the start of my senior year of high school. I personally don't think that this will be my kind of place but it's worth a shot.
"What if I see someone from school here?" I ask Gemma before we get inside.
"They won't recognize you. You look so different with your hair down and when your glasses are off. Plus that outfit I picked out for you makes you look so fit, I wouldn't be surprised if someone from school wanted to take you home." She winked and I rolled my eyes.
Then it hit me. I do look a lot different compared to my normal nerdy look with slicked back hair and thick glasses joined with slacks and dress shirts. Tonight Gemma picked out my outfit and she chose tight black skinny jeans and a fitted maroon shirt. I was also wearing my hair in its natural curly state and contacts instead of my glasses. I can feel a level of confidence I'm not really used to enter my mind and I actually feel kind of hot dressed like this.
"What if I do want to take someone home?" I asked her right before she opened the door to the club.
"Oh, I didn't know you were interested in something like that. Um, just take the car and bring them home, I guess. As long as you use protection and you're safe." She shrugged.
I was pretty shocked at her answer, "Really?"
"Yeah, just walk by the bar before you leave so I can see who you're leaving with. I'll get a ride to a friend's house and mom is out for the weekend, you'll have the house yourself." Wow I can't believe she's okay with me doing something like that. She turned to open the door to the club and gestured for me to follow her.
"Now go have some fun!" She said as she lead me out to the dance floor then went to take over at the bar.
I wasn't sure what to do really so I scanned the room of dancing people and decided against making a fool of myself by attempting to dance with them. I walk away from the crowd and sat at the end of the bar, Gemma made her way toward me.
"Marcel you haven't even been here for five minutes and you've already decided to sit it out at the bar? Get your butt out there and dance!" She gave me a stern yet not too serious look.
"Gem I'm not made for this kind of thing I would make a fool of myself out there!" I looked back at her, she shook her head.
"Half of them are drunk off their ass anyway they won't even care and others are already making a fool of themselves and they don't care either. This night isn't about doing everything right, tonight is about having fun so get off this bar stool and get out there." She smiled at me then turn her head to see someone else was at the bar, "Let me help this guy and by the time I'm done I want to see you out there dancing." She walked to the other side of the bar.
Maybe she was right. I haven't even tried to get out there and dance. This night is about having fun and enjoying the rest of my summer-
"Hey," I heard someone say from beside me.
I looked up to see piercing blue eyes and I knew exactly who they belonged to, Louis Tomlinson.
He was the most gorgeous guy in my school and among the most popular too, alongside his friends Zayn and Liam. Louis was almost perfect except that the fact that he was my bully.
But tonight I'm a different person so let's see where this goes.
"Hey," I replied back.
"I'm Louis," He said as he propped himself up on the side of the bar.
I can't give him my real name he might find out who I am.
"Harry," I gave him a fake name with barely any hesitation.
"Well Harry, would you care for a drink?" He asks about to call over the bartender, my sister.
"Oh uh, no thank you, I'm actually not drinking tonight." I tell him, well, the truth.
"Alright then, would you like to go dance?" He holds his hand out for me to take.
"Sure," I smile and take his hand standing up from the stool I was sitting at. He leads us over to the dance floor, he then turns to face me and starts dancing. I try to copy what he is doing while also trying to keep up with the fast pace of the music.
His hips, fitted perfectly with tight black jeans, move to the beat of music and the white t-shirt he's wearing has a low v-neck that reveals a tattoo across his chest. His eyes finally met mine again and I know he knows I had been checking him out as I knew he had done the same.
I couldn't help be feel this was wrong. I know Louis is my bully and if he would've seen Marcel instead of Harry he would've probably kicked me out of the bar himself. But when Louis isn't beating me up he's actually really hot and I can't help but want him.
