After a few minutes of nervous thumb twiddling and driving, Jordan stopped at home. He got out of the car, and opened Hallie's side.

"I thought you said you wanted to go someplace else?" Hallie wondered aloud.

"I did, but you might have other plans. Wait here." Jordan quickly jogged into his house, and came out with a small black box. He handed it over to Hallie.

Curious, Hallie opened it. A silver chain necklace, with a heart pendant.

"Jordan...you didn't have to waste money on me, especially for something so expensive." Hallie said, still looking down on the necklace.

"But I chose to get it for you. Put it on. For me?"

Hallie smiled and put the necklace on. Jordan looked at Hallie, bottom to top. The necklace looked beautiful on her.

"Thank you, Jordan." She went up and hugged Jordan tightly. He hugged back, saying, "You're welcome" in her ear.

Hallie stretched out of bed, still feeling exhausted. She hasn't taken off the necklace Jordan gave her, and doesn't plan to do so. Hallie took a shower, and got dressed. She ate some pancakes, and checked her emails on her computer.

"Honey, your father, sister and I would really appreciate it if you came back to Virginia with us. Please. We miss you deeply.

-Mom"

Hallie paused for a second to think about it. Her parents do know where she lives, so they'll bound visiting themselves if she doesn't.

She was nervous about typing a reply.

"I'll try to visit soon."

Done sending her answer, she went out to check the mail. Let's see here...magazines, coupons, one plane ticket to Virginia, some advertisements...wait. A plane ticket? To Virginia?

...

A visit to parent's house it is.
