Dan's POV:

It's a chilly day today and even if, I still decided to take a stroll in this specific location. This is my favorite place since, unlike the other parts of the city, it's quieter here and there aren't much people in the morning. There are still a few trees and the sun is quite pale but somewhat warm. There's just a floor of shops and cafes arranged in a boxed "u" shape and the rest of the huge area was an open space either for parking or for relaxing. Today was a special day and I needed some inspiration.

It's nine in the morning, thirty minutes before my "screening test." I keep looking around me hoping to find that inspiration. AHA! There you go! A picturesque site: the golden rays of the sun broken down into multiple spotlights once it hit the great, big tree. I kept my gaze on this so as to make sure that I'd remember every single detail. Everything was going perfectly well until...

*BOOGSH*

The coffee in my hands spilled all over my white shirt. "Ah! Sorry! Oh my gosh... what do I do?! I am SO sorry! ... But I-I have to go," the girl who bumped into me hurriedly and agitatedly said, getting on her feet then dashing past me. How great. I'll present myself in a shirt all stained with coffee. Ten minutes. I guess I better get going.

Lexi's POV:

Hooh! Boy that was one great run. I bumped into a random, handsome guy and I didn't even apologize with sincerity. Dammit! These are seriously one of the moments when I wish I didn't have personal guards. But anyways, my escape was so far successful! "Hah! Who said I can't hide from you guys?!" I did a monologue, pointing into thin air and pretending as though I was actually talking to my four bodyguards.

Finally! A time alone for peace and quiet. No one endlessly feeding me statements of paranoia or danger, nor people staring at me like I'm some weirdo. As I continued to take a stroll, I saw him again. I quickly ran so that I may catch up to him. "Hey! Hey!" I yelled while running like a person from a marathon. Unfortunately, my efforts were to no avail since he didn't even do as much as take a glance. I picked up my pace and when I was behind him, I lightly tapped his shoulder. He faced me calmly, his figure blocking out the sun. "Listen, I'm sorry about earlier. I was just really in a rush. I can buy you another coffee if you want or --" He looked at his wristwatch before interrupting me. "Yeah, it's fine. Gotta go."

He turned his back on me and headed his way, holding a canvas and a brown leather messenger bag. I wonder where he's going. "MISS HUANG!" One of my guards called out from the car. I knew there was no use running now so I got inside the car and am now heading to uncle's art studio.

Dan's POV:

I reached my destination just in time. I set up my area: I placed my canvas on the easel board and put out my materials. I then began to paint. I finished my artwork in an hour so I left earlier than everyone else in the room. All I can hope for now is that my work will be chosen for the exhibit.
