*****Emma POV*****
I wake up in my bed, wearing the pair of pjs from my dresser, I completely forgot everything like how I got here and what day it is. when I sit up I hear talking down stairs.

"Is Emma up yet, I want to play ball!?"

"No sweetie, she would not be able to any why, ask one of you friends!"

"Fine!"

I get up and run down stairs, after changing into my last clean cloths

A long sleeved dress with a brown shirt and brown flats.

"Hay! I can play with you, I wouldn't mind!"

Casey and my mom both look at me.

"SWEET!"

"Casey wait, are you okay, how do you feel, do you want any food?!"

I know my mom was concerned, but she has to stop treating me like a baby!

"No, I fine, don't worried!"

I put in a fake smile, but I am hungry, so before I left I grabbed a piece of bread, and looked at my mom, who have me 'thought so' look and went back to cleaning.

After I finished the apple we made our way to a field, and started throwing the ball back and forth. I caught it every time, but could work on throwing, because I either throw to long at to short. after five minutes of silents Casey looked at me with a cute little smile and asked.

"Emma, what was it like to fight a solider, on a roof?!"

I looked at him, not knowing what to say. so I will tell him the truth.

"Well..... it was scary knowing that a man was chasing you across roofs, and no one cared, but when I bet him I felt like I could do anything, like I wasn't a little kid, and that when I become a cadet, and start to train, I at least know so basic moves!"

I look at Casey who looked like he had seen a Titan eat a person!

"You are going to join the cadets? why, that means you have to fight titans, and leave mom and me!"

I could see a tear form in his left eye, at first I didn't know how he knew that I wanted to join, then I remembered what I said!

"Please don't tell mom, I want to train I little more to show he I can handle being a cadet first."

It was to late! Casey was running as fast as he could with tears falling down his face screaming 'MOM'. I was behind him because I didn't realize he was gone until I heard yell mom.

I caught up with him pretty fast, but I knew I couldn't talk him out of telling mom, so I fallowed him home, preparing to get screamed at.

After run for 2. More minute, we made it home, Casey was so out of breath he couldn't breath, I was out of breath also just not as bad as Casey.

A after Casey finally caught his breath he pushed the door open, and I just fallowed

"MMMMOOOMMMM, Emma wants to join the cadet corps!!"

My mom whips her head, with a look of hope in her eyes.

******moms POV******

Before Emma and Casey came home I realizes that Emma would be turning old enough to join the cadets corps, and I know that she was thinking about, it because after she past out from her fight, she insisted on going out with Casey, saying she wasn't hungry,even though she was.

"MMMMOOOMMMM, Emma want to join the cadet corps!!"

An after hearing that, I was snapped out of my thoughts, now knowing that they were true, and that I didn't know what to say.

"Look mom, it was a dumb idea, I need to get back to reality. I need to think about you sand Casey before my self."

I stare at Emma, and see that she had a look of shame on her face, then I look at Casey, who was thin, but had a look of hope in his eyes.

"Well Emma, you've done a lot for this family, know why do you want to leave, be honest."

Emma looked like she was about to explode with glee.

"Well, I think leaving will save you more money for food and help make Casey's life better."

She looked down at her feet, not wanting to look up.

"Well, you think Casey life will be better! with out a sister and father!"

I've never seen Emma looked so ashamed, almost like she didn't know who to choose.

"Look, le- captain Levi told me that dad last words were to- "

******Emma's POV******

I hesitated, because I didn't know if she would believe me or not, and if she would still approve of the choice I might make.

"...... Do what ever it takes to protect the family. and reality is, the only way is for me to become stronger and be able to fight like dad, is to train hard, as hard as i can,and kill all those stupid titans!"

I stared at my mom for what felt like forever, it looked like she was in deep thought, and that she, it actually looked like she was considering!

"Well, what you said about dad I know is true, because he expected a lot from you, and....... if you can show my that you can handle the way they talk and treat you, and can show that you might not pass out in training, I'll let you join."

"WHAT! MOM NO YOU CAN'T! WHAT ABOUT ME! HOW WILL I HAVE TO PROTECT ME!"

Casey was screaming and crying at e and mom, which broke my heart know how heart broken he was about me leaving. And I couldn't help it.

"Casey, it will be okay, I can come and visit and you can even visit me, at times."

By the end of the sentence I was already my knees hugging Casey and letting him cry into my shoulder.

"Can I stay with you till you leave, like, watch you train and stuff."

Casey's eyes looked at me, their were still tears in his eyes, but they weren't falling any more.

"Yes, you can hang with me until I leave, but I will train every day, so if you don't want to watch its okay."

I could see a smile under his tears, and he didn't looked so worried. I looked at mom who was trying not to cry so instead, she had a calm Amalie on her face.

Tomorrow, I will start training, real training!
