"If you have a positive attitude and constantly strive to give your best effort, eventually you will overcome your immediate problems and find you are ready for greater challenges."
~Pat Riley
The launch off pad was there in the middle, they got in their spots and Dave said, "we wasn't expecting this, we thought you had more time but we were wrong. Your first real battle is 20 days from now, so from now on we are training none stop, starting now." The instructors then got with their person and took them to the room. Patrick sat down at the control panel, which he was in the middle, he met Derek, who was there to be the hacker, then Cody who was there to track them, then he met Janice who was there to keep them up to date on everything, including the countdown, and lastly he met Victoria who was there to be the 'operator' or mechanic, who was going to create different things for them. The control panel was white with different buttons and mouses and keyboard and a bunch of computers, they each had a microphone in front of them that led to the Extreme Five's earbud. Patrick sat down and Derek was trying to hack into the enemies computers, but he couldn't, but he kept trying. Then a picture-that was taken by a satellite that they owned- showed up on everyone's screen, Janice started to keep them up to date and Patrick was studying it and he said, "There might be more then we think, look, there's a bunch of ships and then at the end there is a huge ship."
"It looks like a egg," Cody said.
"Yeah, but look," as he zoomed in on everyone's screen, "look it looks like-"
"It has to be the mothership," Victoria declared.
"How did you know that, I was talking about all the weapons and that weird blob thing in the front seat," Patrick said.
"First I'm the mechanic, so I know this stuff and second that's all the signs of the mothership, loads of weapons, that blob thing is a alien that has to be the king," Victoria responded.
"So that's who we need to go after," Janice said.
"Yes, if we can get in there somehow, I can hack there computers and turn off all there ships and there powers," Derek said.
"Yeah, and more than like there is a control panel like this-" Patrick was saying before interrupted by Cody.
"Then there is probably a button that shuts down the weapons."
"Exactly, and probably one even better, hopefully there is one that kills them all," Patrick said.
"I can create a chip that can be inserted in Alyssa's helmet that can scan anything," Victoria said.
"That's good," Patrick said.
"They are very close, 20 days is wrong, more like 15," Cody said, "come on look," and they all crowded around Cody's screen that had a fleet of ships that was only 15 to 17 days away from the center.
"I'm updating it now," Janice said.
"So with Alyssa, the fleet of ships, and the countdown going down we have a 5.5 percent of losing someone, 47.5 percent of us all blowing up and killing the world and only a 47 percent of us actually saving the world," Patrick said.
"But we still have to try," Derek said.
"I know we have to still try," Patrick said.

When Alyssa, Camella, Chandler, Kinsey, and Riley was finished they saw a picture of a alien fleet of spaceships. Dave stepped up and said, "while you guys was training they control team was working and they found some very important things. First things first, you only have 15 days until your actual big fight, next they have said this is the mothership, Alyssa you are going to have to go in there and shut it down, scan the control panel and Derek will tell you what to do, Victoria needs to see your helmet to put a chip in. Now Patrick says there is a 5.5 chance of one of you dying, but by yourself, statistically, you only have a 50.577778 percent of all five of you making it out alive, so be safe. With that being safe, we want you to do anything you can not to get shot, and if you see someone in trouble, help them. We are guessing that they are going to attack in a popular area, so get everyone out of there, but no one can know your identity, so wear these masks," and the instructors handed them masks to cover the better part of their face. "Well that's all for today, tomorrow we will have more information and mor training, goodnight," Dave said and they all left and went into their rooms.
"It's nice working with all you guys," Patrick said.
"Same here," Janice said.
"Likewise," Cody said.
"Same," Victoria said.
"I feel the same way," Derek said.
"I worked at the news counter at the Pentagon for four years, collecting news and right them down so I'm kind of used to this, but I have never worked on something that if I got one thing wrong and missed one detail, it could be the end of the world as we know it," Janice said.
"Yeah, I worked for the CIA, but they never really needed me so I used my skills to come here," Derek said.
"Yeah, that's why me and Derek know each other because we worked at the CIA together, I had to track down enemies, but in the end they fired me so we came here and now we are working on something that means more than one country, we are saving the world," Cody said.
"I also worked for our government, I worked for the FBI and I had to make weapons for them, 231 failed weapons and they fired me, so I came here and now that I can't be fired, it feels better," Victoria said.
"Yeah I have lived here my whole life, but I was hired by the FBI for my intelligence, I was fired because they found a new one, then my girlfriend, who is now my wife, got me a job here," Patrick said.
"Guys, we're turning off the lights in here," Dave said, "you guys better hurry up and get to your rooms."
"Ok fine," Patrick said.
"Bye," they all said and went to their rooms.
