"Happy birthday, Your Majesty!" screamed everyone in the dance hall. They started to congratulate him.

"Where is your company, Your Majesty? Or are you alone? If you have said something, I would have brought my daughter, princess Kyori. You would be such a great couple!" Duke Yamoto was in his fantasing.

"I am sorry, Duke Yamoto, but I do not plan to get married."

"Oh, are you still grieving?"

"Yes, it was not long time ago, they left me." Ryouta sighed.

"Was not? Five years are long time..." Duke eyed him carefully.

"For me, it is not and will not be enough time to forget."

"You do not have to forget, just to move on. You should find someone, who will share your pain with you, who will make your future better and brighter..."

"Moreover..." Ryouta rised his voice in case to change the topic of their conversation. "I am not here alone."

"Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding, but who might be your company, Your Majesty?" The Duke asked curiously.

Ryouta was silent and he was thinking, what he will say, so everybody will believe in his lie.

"My friend was so kind and promised me to come with me. You know her, The Countess Lena."

"Countess Lena? I have not heard about her..." he scratched his chin in wonder.

" You had to hear about her. She is really beatiful, but very shy." Ryouta lied. "Or, I hope she will..." he whispered to himself.

"Where is she?" Duke asked.

"Oh, she will come later. Her journey was long and she needed some rest." He tried to cover everything up.

" Oh, I see. Well, there is no help. I am not wondering, why I do not know her. If she is from far country, there is no way, I would know her. My knowledge of people has its limits. I do not know anybody from outside of our country, Your Majesty." Duke said with bright face.

Ryouta was relieved.

But really, where the hell is she? Ryouta thought annoyed.

He turned around and he noticed familiar dark blue hair. He sighed.

Time for an apology!

"Hello." Ryouta greeted his old friend.

Daiki turned to him. "Good evening, Your Majesty." Daiki bowed.

"No need to be formal."

"I can not agree with you." Daiki said and wanted to leave.

Ryouta held his hand.

"I am sorry, Daiki. I did not mean it. I know, you are the only one, whom I have, but I can not move on. It is still painful for me, but I am trying, really." he stared into Daiki's eyes.

Daiki sighed. " Alright, I will forgive you this once." he smiled at Ryouta. "Are you alone?"

"Apparently, I am."

"Apparently? Were you supposed to be with anyone?" Daiki rose his eyebrow.

"Well yes, I ordered my maid to go with me, because she did not find me anyone, but I guess I got rejected. She has not appeared yet." he sighed.

"What? Do you want her to come so badly that you are this dissapointed? Oh, I am glad, you took my advice to your heart."

"What are you talking about? No way! I do not care, if she..."
