A boy and a girl in a little canoe
Avoiding the world's toughest judgements
Sail through a land for the lost, the forgotten
And give it more than just a passing glance.
The cold burns their skin
But they did not run away nor flee.
They simply stopped to rest where they could not be found
A boy and a girl in the land of the lost
Awaiting to be the forgotten.

PoetryThis is a compilation of poetry that I wrote through my senior year of high school for my favorite English class. I wrote these poems at a time in my life where everything was changing- for the better. I hope you enjoy them.
