I turn you on
Just for you to restart.
You freeze and do it again.
I am done with computers.
I press your buttons precisely
But you do not respond.
You are jammed with all my papers.
I am done with copy machines.
I hand you the CD
But you do not know how to read.
So you spit it right back at me.
I am done with car radios.
So now before I think twice
I will pick up a pen and some paper.
Technology has let me down.
I am starting with the old.

PoetryThis is a compilation of poetry that I wrote through my senior year of high school for my favorite English class. I wrote these poems at a time in my life where everything was changing- for the better. I hope you enjoy them.
