I was walking to my locker with a countless of book in my hand when someone suddenly decided to bump into me and made me involuntarily throw all the books to the floor. I look up with my death glare’s in action but only to meet with two soulless blue eyes staring at me. I blink once. I blink twice. Still those soulless blue eyes staring at me. I blink for the third time and zoom out my view. But then, I choked with my own saliva. Right now I’m literally cursing my friends for that dare they made me do in my whole freaking brain. It’s Nick. Nick James, remember the wife incident. It’s Nick freaking James.

He clear his throat and, “ um, you. Hey. “

I force a smile and bent down then bump hard into someone’s head. I fell on my butt with a spinning throbbing head.

“ Ouch! My head. Dizzy. Not okay. “

Suddenly a warm hand grip my wrist and slowly moving my hand away from my head.

“ Do you always talk that much? “

“ Huh? What? “

I look up and again, soulless blue eyes with a little bit of concern staring at my forehead.

“ You… “

“ Yeah, Nick. “

My mind say that Nick have a good looking face and I’m staring at it while he softly touch my bump. Still staring. Those two blue eyes look like ocean up close. Still staring. He have freckles on his chin, it’s like topping on a cake. Much more nice to stare with a topping on top. Still staring. Involuntarily my right hand slowly reaching up to touch his chin and connect the dots, when something block my hand.

“ Whatever in your mind right now, don’t do it. “

I snap back into reality and turn my head from right to left like mad man. I can feel warmth creeping up my cheek and although I can’t see it, I know that I’m blushing like crazy.

“ I need to go. “

I pick all the books that I involuntarily throw earlier and made my way to my locker. Looks like I’m cursing all day in my mind just because of him, Nick James. I’m done. I’m screwed. I’m finished. Right about this moment, high school sucks. But there’s this tiny mind inside my brain says, “ no high school not sucks. You just falling. Falling in – “

I hit the bump on my head and tears fall from my right eye.

“ Can’t my day get even worse. “

I stamp my left foot before continue walking to my locker. Well, I’m sure to thanks God a lot for keeping the hallway empty while Nick freaking James and I having the moment.
