I stood in front of the cafe.

I hesitated to go inside. But I took a deep breath, walking in with no regrets.

And there she was, looking beautiful than ever.

I smiled. She smiled back. There was a slight moment of silence until she spoke.

"Hey, Yoongi." Her sweet voice pulled me deeper into her trap.

"Hey, (Y/N)." I tried my best to make my voice stable but I could feel it shaking. I was nervous for some reason. This feels like..

This feels like the time when the both of us were first going out together.

"How have you been? And with Hoseok?" I asked, taking my jacket off.

"Good, and you?"

I smiled to myself. "I'm not sure." I replied. "Honestly, I'm not sure." I laughed quietly.

"I see. Are you feeling okay? I heard about you and Shinji's break up." Her voice sounded concerned and worried. I liked that.

"Yeah." I nodded. It felt good talking to her again. Her voice calmed me down. I was happy.

"Shall we order something?" She suggested. She began looking at the menu, and so did I. I would glance at her from time to time. (And hey, I'm not tryna sound creepy, but she was pretty today.)

When we were done ordering everything, there was that small moment of silence again. The cool air of awkwardness was poured upon us until I decided to speak up.

"Hey, I heard there's this fair coming up in two weeks. You and Hoseok should go there; it's made for couples." I looked out the window at the snow that was falling.

"Oh, really? Yeah! I'll think about it. Do you know what it's called?" She grabbed her phone and started typing. I could hear the clicks as she kept typing something down.

"Ah, Winter Heart Fair." I said. She looked up at me, smiling and turning off her phone. "Thanks. I'll look into it."

I nodded.

"So, how was work for you?" She stirred her cup of coffee. I took a sip of my drink.

"Well, work is busy. But I also got a new, and bigger place. Finally." I replied. "And you?"

"Same, Hoseok and I are getting our own place. It's a lot bigger too." She took small sips of her coffee and set the cup down.

After we ate and everything, we both went outside and said our goodbyes. I stared into her eyes and she stared back. I chuckled.

"Well, this is goodbye." I said quietly.

"Yeah.." She nodded, looking down.

I smiled. "Such a pretty woman." I whispered.

"Hm?" She looked up, but I shook my head, assuring that it was nothing and that I was talking to myself.

"Alright then. Bye!" She waved, walking to her car.

"I'll see you another day. Some day." I whispered again as I waved at her.

I went to my car, and drove off.

Sometimes forever is forever. But forever never lasts.
