"It's been almost a year since the battle and Lay had left. The establishment of the asylum had passed only because the city hoped that vampires would stay only on their land.
Selene has been busy organizing homes and schools for the vampires. It's amazing how she does the things she does. She's also been teaching me the ways if being a vampire. Even though I'm only a half-vampire, I'm still not quite use to drinking blood.
It's weird not seeing Lay here... Selene misses him alot and well I miss him too. Its also a little awkward being in love with the same guy but I know Lay cares about me... Just not as much as he cares for HER! I wonder what he's doing and where he is?"

Damien: With Lay teaching them they'll be almost as good as us!

Lay: Great just no more babies for a while alright! Those in there are already a handful!

Damien: That's not enough and you know it.
