Hans: (throws the girl) you can have her but I don't want this life. I can't and I won't live my life as a vampire. (Stands in the sunlight)

Lay: No don't!

Selene: I see so that's what happened..

Lay: I couldn't save him.

Selene: In this battle many lives will be lost but it's not our job to save every living person out there-

Lay: Well we sure as hell have to try!

Selene: I was born this way Lay, you should know that.

Lay: I mean if you had a choice? What would it be?

Selene: I guess... maybe I would want to be a vampire. But then again I would want to be human.

Lay: Why? You would just grow old and die.

Selene: Exactly. I see people who are old but they're still so full of life. I envy them. They get a chance to fall in love, have kids and watch their families grow up. Unlike me who lives forever, I'll never have that luxury.

Lay: Says who?

Selene: You don't understand the vampire realm Lay. I must do my duties as queen and produce an heir only from the three head clans. I can't fall in love with an outsider. Even though I want to... (Leans head on the window)

Lay: That's pure bullshit if you ask me. Well I'm gonna head on home. Hey Selene... you have the power to change it if you don't like it.
