Mike's POV

"Thank you." I said to the taxi driver I paid him and walked out. I grabbed my suitcase and closed the door
I don't understand why that Jake guy wants with Mac. He beat her but when I see him I'll make him regret it

~Ding Dong~

I waited for someone to answer
"What are you doing here?" Kian asked opening the door and looking at me confused
"Where's Makayla?" I asked him he crossed his arms
"She's been up in her room since last night." Kian said

"What? Alone? What is wrong with you?" I snapped I pushed passed him and ran upstairs to her room. I left my suitcase downstairs but the only thing that matters is that's she's ok and alive. I know she used to cut she said she stopped but has razors just in case something is too much for her

I opened the door and Makayla was on her laptop I sighed
"Let me see." I said walking towards her. Kian came up and looked at us
"See what?" She asked. I grabbed her arms and lifted up the sleeves. There were four cuts on her wrist

"See what you did?!" I yelled at Kian he looked hurt
"First you make her cry and then cut?" I scoffed
"You're the worst boyfriend ever! Leave!" I yelled standing up and pushing him out of the room before slamming the door on his face

"Makayla." I mumbled turning around
"I'm sorry Mike." She mumbled looking down
"Hey, it's ok he's not worth it please don't do it again." I said grabbing her chin
"I won't I promise." She nodded I smiled

"Good because I don't like it." I frowned
"It was in a moment of weakness I swear it won't happen again." She said
"Ok, did you tell them what Jake did to you?" I asked she looked down and shook her head
"And you can't tell them." She said

"Why the hell not?" I asked raising a brow at her
"Because for me, please?" She bit her lip
"Fine." I mumbled
"Yay! Thank you." She said hugging me I chuckled and hugged her back

"Get dressed we're going out." I smirked and pulled away
"Where to?" She asked crossing her arms
"Come on please?" I asked
"Ok fine but get out." She said
"Ok I still need to get my suitcase." I chuckled

I walked out of her room and walked downstairs
"Who are you?" A girl with jet black hair asked as I grabbedy suitcase. Which I'm surprised Kian put in and didn't leave it outside
"I'm Mac's friend, Micheal but you can call me Mike." I said to her

"And you? I didn't see you here when I came last time?" I said to her
"I was away." Was all she said I nodded
"Hey Mike? What are you doing here?" Jc asked
"Being there for Makayla something you aren't doing." I snapped

"Look Mi-Mac cut him off
"Ready." She said to me I smiled and nodded
"Where are you going?" Jc asked. By now Kian was also here
"Out." Makayla said simply
"Yea b-she cut him off again
"Why do you care?" Makayla snapped

"Mac you know I do." Jc said with hurt in his voice
"Not last night you didn't." She said shaking her head
"I'll take care of her." I said Kian glared at me
"She's not going anywhere with you." Kian snapped

"And why the hell not?!" I snapped
"She's my girlfriend." Kian said to me
"It didn't feel like it last night." She whispered
"What?" His voice cracked
"You didn't let me explain last night." She mumbled

"What was I supposed hear?! You basically said that you tried to kill him and sold drugs!" Kian yelled
"Maybe if you actually listened to me you would know why I did that stuff!" Makayla yelled. The air grew thick as Makayla was ready to tell them the truth behind those things

"Jake beat me! He was my ex! Everytime I would talk to a boy I would get a beating!" She yelled at him
"One day he threatened to kill my family so I hit him in the back of the head with a vase! So if I tried to kill him then yea I did but only to protect my family!" Makayla added
