Chapter 2: The School Trip

Finally me and my friends arrived at school. The bell rang immediately and we went to class.

The teacher came inside of the classroom and started talking about the school trip. She said that we would go to the amusement park.

'Wow! Daebak!! That's so cool!!', my friends said.

The teacher then told us what we were going to do. She told us that we would have to do a mission and solve the problems after the mission. We were devided in groups of 4 people and I was with V, Jungkook and Krystal, one of my best friends.

I was in a group with Jungkook so I thought I could try and talk to him...

~The school trip~
'Come on guys! The longer it takes the less time you have to finish your missions!', the teacher said.

Rapmon was telling us to be faster too because he doesn't want to have bad points, he'd never forgive us.

The teacher explained us what we would have to do. She said we had to go inside the haunted house and find the hints. Krystal immediately said she didn't want to go inside because she hates scary things.

'It'll be alright, we have 2 boys with us.', I said while I winked at V.

'Yeah we'll protect you, isn't that right Kookie?', V said while he winked back. But Jungkook didn't answer, he didn't even look at Taehyung.

I broke the silence and said that we should hurry up.

When we arrived at the haunted house there was a person who looked like he'd explain us what we had to do. He devided us in 2 groups again: V and Krystal had to solve the questions but first Jungkook and I had to find the hints in the haunted house.

Krystal was happy because she didn't have to do the scary part. But even though I like scary things, the thought of going to search for something in the dark sent a shiver down my spine. I'm a bit scared of the dark...but I knew I'd be okay. The things inside aren't real, right...?

The teacher told us we could go inside and so we did. It was vert quiet because Jungkook didn't say a word as usual and I was too scared to start a conversation. I didn't even notice that it was pitch black yet.

~Jungkook's POV~
She's scared, I just know she is. She is...was my best friend after all. I know all those little things about her. I know that she's scared of the dark but loves horror movies and scary stories, I know that she loves music like nobody else in this world, that she's a good cook and a good person, I know how important her grades are to her and that she's always putting others before herself. I know all those things about her, but why am I thinking about this now, I should search for the hints instead.

I can't stand this anymore, I need to say something.

'Have you found any hints yet?', I asked.

'Eumh...no I haven't...', Jungkook said.

'WHAT?! That is literally the first thing he said to me in months...okay okay calm down Ann calm down!', I thought. I should've slapped myself to stay calm but that would've just been weird, certainly if there's someone watching you. 'I haven't either.', I said while I tried to stay calm and tried not to look too shocked.

Suddenly a creepy man appeared and scared me, there was another one that scared Jungkook and we got almost dragged into a corner. They were acting really creepy. They didn't bother Jungkook that much but they were scaring me all the time and it started to annoy me. I just wanted them to leave.

'Leave me alone please...', I asked politely. 'I wish I could see something, it's so dark in here.', I thought.

Suddenly Jungkook screamed that he found a hint and that surprised me for a second.

'What does it say?', I asked.

Before I knew it I was right next to Jungkook and he gave me the hint and went searching in another room without saying anything.

I didn't really know what to do or what to think. 'What did I do wrong now?', I asked myself.

Suddenly something grabbed my leg, something else grabbed my arm and there was another thing that pulled my shirt.

It scared me and I asked them politely to stop but they just kept pulling.

'Please cut it out! I don't like this anymore...', I said with a scared voice.

I felt something warm touch my hand and squeeze it, it surprised me and then I saw what it was...
