Chapter 7: A New Friend

"Mind if I euh sit here?", the guy asked.

"No...of course not.", I told him.

"So how are you?"

"Euh I-"

"I saw somebody brought you to the infirmary yesterday so I, euh, thought something might have happened."

"Oh, no I'm okay thank you. How are you?"

RAPMON'S POV:

"Who's that guy?", I whispered to Jimin.

"I have NO idea..."

"Should we go check it out?"

"He might be planning something...", Jimin said concerned.

"Don't start hallucinating and let her meet some new people", J-Hope suddenly said from behind us.

"Okay okay...but I'm keeping an eye on him, just in case.", Jimin answered.

ANN'S POV:

"Me? I'm okay now...", the guy said and he started blushing.

"Now?", I asked confused.

"Yeah, I euh, wanted to talk to you for a long time."

"You did?", I said as I felt my cheeks turning a bright red.

"M-my name is Nathan.", he said shyly.

"Nice to meet you Nathan, my name is Ann.", I answered him with a reassuring smile.

"That's a really pretty name. Nice to meet you too.", he said and he smiled back.

Just then I saw Jungkook falling on the ground, his books flying everywhere.

"Oh, please excuse me for a second.", I said as I immediately ran off to help Jungkook.

"Okay..."

"Are you okay? Did you hurt yourself?", I asked Jungkook while helping him gather his things.

Jungkook ignored me and stood up. He grabbed his books out of my hands and walked away without saying anything or even looking at me.

I just stood there and I was about to cry. The only thing I wanted to do was help him.

"Ann? Are you okay?", a familiar voice asked. It was Nathan.

"I'm sorry...", I said as I took my bag and ran away.

"Is that her boyfriend?", Nathan asked himself.

"Long story...", Jin answered. "But I can't tell, to be honest..."

I was crying and ran to the dorm.

"What are you doing here shouldn't you b-", Amanda tried to finish her sentence but she stopped as she saw me crying.

"What happened, why are you crying my dear? Come here...", she said and pulled me into a tight hug.

"What did I ever do wrong...please, I don't want to feel like this anymore!"

"If there is anything I can do for you, please tell me. I'm right here, okay?"

"Can I please go to my room...I'm not feeling well...I don't want to go back for now..."

I was lying in my bed when someone knocked on the door.

"Can I come in?" It was Nathan.

"Euh...sure", I said surprised.

Nathan walked inside and closed the door again.

"You should be at school..."

"You should too...what happened out there?", he asked but I didn't answer. There was a moment of complete silence.

"What did that guy do to you?"

"It's nothing..."

"You were crying and you still are...that's not nothing."

"It's a long story..."

"You can tell me, I'm your friend right? You can have all my time."

"You are but-"

"Then what is the problem?"

"I haven't told anyone..."

"Why not?"

"I'd like to keep it a secret for now..."

"Oh okay, I understand. But I'm here when you need me okay?", he said while hugging me. That surprised me at first but then, I just hugged him back.

"Thank you..."
