Chapter 5: Scars

Inwent upstairs to my room and placed myself on my bed. I was forcing myself not to cry but I couldn't hold it in anymore... I was crying for hours.

"Why does it always have to be like this...", I whispered to myself.

Suddenly someone opened the door. I looked behind me, still with tears in my eyes and noticed who it was... it was Rapmon.

"Huh? Ann are you crying?!"

"Rapmon? Why didn't you knock?", I said as I wiped my tears.

"Why are you crying?"

"I'm not crying..."

"You can tell me...I'm your friend, aren't I?", he said as he came closer to me and placed himself next to me.

"It hurts..."

"Come here.", he said as he hugged me.

"Rapmon are you coming?", someone said from inside the hall. He then opened the door.

"Here you are, we have to-"

It was Jimin who was looking really confused at us.

"Hey, is everything okay?"

The 3 of us talked for a while.

"Everything will be okay, I promise...", Jimin said.

"How...tell me...how can you promise me that?"

"I don't know...but we are here for you."

"We're your friends."

"Thanks guys!", I said as a smile appeared on my face.

The next morning...

I woke up and went to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and saw that my neck was a little bit blue (because of the guy who hold my neck)

"No no no...I don't need this right now..."

I went back to my room and searched for a matching scarf.

At the table:

"Hey Ann good morning, are you feeling better?', Taehyung asked.

"Yeah, I'm okay, how is Jungkook?"

"I think he's still sleeping, I'll go check on him.", J-Hope said. "We're not letting him go to school today, you should stay home too."

"I'm okay. I can go, don't worry."

"But..."

"I said I'm okay!"

They all looked surprised at me.

"Sorry... I'm gonna leave early so I'll see you at school."

My plan was working really well until Amanda came and started asking questions.

"Ann dear, why are you wearing a scarf?! It's too hot outside to wear that right now.', she said as she removed my scarf.

"No, don't! I..."

They all looked at me like I had just killed someone. It was like their eyes couldn't believe what they saw.

"Ann, what happened?!", Rapmon shouted.

"Nothing!' , I said as I took my scarf. "I'm leaving..."

"No you're not! Tell us what happened!", Jin said.

I was ignoring all the questions and was ready to go outside when V grabbed my hand.

"V! Let g-..."

He looked at me like he had never looked at me before. His expression was so serious and also hurt because I didn't tell him what happened.

"...V...let go, please..."

"Oh...I'm sorry."

I was about to leave when Jin pushed me against the wall and blocked me with his arms.

"Aw..."

"We just want to help you..."

"They...they..."

I tried to speak but I just couldn't because I was crying too hard. Jin then hugged me and told me that everything was okay now...but what if I see them again?

At that moment J-Hope came from the stairs in a hurry.

"It's Jungkook!... He's gone!"
