Aiden POV

After the rogue told me about this Jacob guy I researched for a long time in our files that we kept which were all stored on the computer. The files I researched accounted for each wolf attacked in a pack battle from both their and our side. We never attacked any female wolves so it just doesn't make sense. I had the urge to kill the rogue for lying but I had a feeling that he was telling the truth. 1hr before Dylan and I left, Cassie and Liz were in the attic for God knows what reason and they saw a spider so they mind linked me really scared and I thought it was a real emergency until they told me to kill the spider. They scared me to death. I thought something happened to one of them. I told them this is ridicules because they are wolves for goodness sake, how they are even scared of spiders baffles me. I killed it and then they left to go downstairs because they were scared to find any more spiders. I rolled my eyes and then notice there were a couple of dusty file cabinets so I decided it was a worth a try to look in there . I expected not to find anything because all of the files even those back when my ancestor first created this pack is suppose to be transferred onto the computer. I was going through each file and I remembered reading each file on the computer then I landed on a file that was definitely not in the database. I decided to lock the file in my desk and ask my dad about it later to see if this has any connection with this Jacob guy. When I came back from my mate's house I was eager to speak to him about it because it was weird that this was the only file not stored on our computer.

When I told my dad about the file and he said he and his men never killed a female wolf while he was alpha I thought maybe this file was unimportant .However when he saw the file and he looked like he saw a ghost when he read the name of the pack I thought maybe I was right in thinking it had significance and could be a connection to this Jacob guy.

"Dad, who is the pack. I never heard it before"

"All of the packs members are suppose to be dead. How is that possible? Where did you even get this?"

"What are you talking about? You said you never killed a female wolf and why didn't you want me to find it?"

"Its not that I didn't want you to find it. I didn't know the file even existed; it was never suppose to be recorded. Everyone died Aiden. This is impossible."

He sat on my couch rubbing his temple.

I guess he mind linked Dylan's father David to come because he just walked in"

"What's the matter George?"

"Jacob is alive" he said

"Okay. Who is Jacob and why do you look so worried."

"He is from the Black star Pack" my father told him

David instantly looked shocked and sat down on the couch next to my dad. Then he turned to my dad and Dylan looked at me like wtf is going on so I just shrugged.

"George that is impossible. He is dead. You know that. I know that. Remember the whole pack died. Jacob is not alive."

"I thought so too but then Aiden gave me the file on the Black Star Pack. And it makes sense why Jacob wants revenge."

"Wait. What file? This was not supposed to be recorded. That doesn't make sense."

My dad handed him the file.

He flipped through the pages.

"Who created this?"

"I don't know. I just found out about the file and whoever recorded it had to have recorded it for a reason."

My dad took the file and was flipping through the pages again while David was reading it with him. Both of them not acknowledging us so Dylan and I started talking about how they are acting so strangely.

"What is in the file" Dylan asked

"I don't know. I opened up the front page and it said Black star Pack and I knew it was not recorded in the database because I searched the database for each pack that we have ever battled with even back to our ancestors that founded this town and it was not listed in the database. I was going to read it after we came back from our mates' house."

"Dylan and Aiden. This is bad. Jacob might be alive." My dad said

"I thought you guys both just said he is dead but now both of you agree with us"

"Yes we have found something weird" David said

"What is weird" Dylan asked

"Each person from that pack as their picture when they were alive and their picture of their remains plus it says underneath those pictures the word dead in big black bold letters. Jacob has both his picture when he was alive and his remains but he is the only one in the whole pack that doesn't have the word dead underneath. Nothing is written underneath the pictures. Maybe the person who recorded this found out he was alive so Aiden, your mother and Dylan's mother will help teach your mates what to do as Luna and beta female during times of war and how to protect the females and children while the men fight at war since they are new to our world. They definitely need some guidance."

"Wait war?" both Dylan and I said at the same time.

"Yes both David and I will assist you in anything you need for us to do. Our allies will probably be willing to help us too."

"Dad, I know this Jacob guy is alive but I think our pack is more than capable to fight Jacob and his rogues in war. We do have the best fighters and worldwide it is known that we have conquered the most land. Packs are afraid of us. He wouldn't know what hit him"

"Aiden, please listen to me. You have no idea who you are messing with. Don't be arrogant because you might think you are untouchable ,our pack is untouchable and I know how you and Dylan are both strong, strategic, disciplined, and very skillful warriors which helped you to beat many packs without mine, David's, or the help of our allies but this time you don't know who you are dealing with .The pack he was in was such a force to be reckon with and Jacob is ruthless. Him being alive is the worst thing that could of happen. You need all the help you can get because I guarantee you he has more help than the rogues. He is coming back with vengeance and trust me this will not be an easy war."
