Aiden POV

Callie was sitting in my lap and Allison was snuggled up with Dylan

"So girls, as you saw we are werewolves" I stated the obvious

"So you guys become werewolves when it’s a full moon" Allison asks

"No that is just a myth. We can become werewolves anytime we want unless we are a kid. Kids are not able to turn into wolves until their 13th birthday. This is why their 13 birthday is so significant. It’s like puberty for werewolves. However, it does take years for them to fully be able to control their wolves. With lots of practice and training by the time they are 16, they usually are able to have complete control over their wolves unless they get very angry or are overwhelmed by lust." I said

"So whenever you are angry or overwhelmed by lust you turn into a wolf" Allison asked

"No. Our eyes turn pitch black, we become very aggressive, and our wolves are able to speak out loud to anyone around. However, when we are in complete control of our body our wolves can only speak to us in our mind." I informed her

I looked at them to make sure their following along. They were paying attention so I continued.

"Werewolves are usually in packs. There is a hierarchy in a pack. The Alpha is the leader of the pack; they try their best to keep up with the going ons within the pack. They see each of the pack members as family and make important decisions that reflect the growth and welfare of the pack. The Alpha creates the rules for the pack and makes sure they are properly enforced. Alpha decides on ranking, courting, assessments, and banishments of wolves. Another important responsibility of the Alpha is to maintain the pack's hunting territory. The Alpha calls group hunts and decides when and where to hunt, along with the Betas and Hunters... During pack meetings, most issues will be discussed with the pack as a whole. The final decision will be made by the Alpha after all opinions are heard by the pack members. The Alphas have the final say so in everything, yet act only for the good of the pack. Their mate is called the Luna, kind of like the 'Queen' of the pack. She acts as the ‘mother’ of the pack. They provide an emotional center for the family and focus for friendly feeling in the pack. One of the most important social functions of the Luna is to help maintain an even temper and bond of the family."I said

The girls looked really intent like they were hearing a bed time story then Dylan decided to take over.

"Next is The Beta wolf. He is chosen by the alpha and is the second ranking individual within the pack. They show commitment and loyalty to the pack, also acting as a discipliner to reinforce the Alpha's decisions. The Betas stand in as Alpha when the Alpha is not present. They answer to no one but their Alpha, but are expected, as with all members, to show respect to every wolf. They also assist the Alpha with any conflicts within the pack and enforce the rules, keeping peace within the pack. They have the right to kick and ban a wolf from the pack, after fair warning of wrong actions, such as fighting. Betas may also call hunts, deciding when and where to hunt, along with the Hunters. In pack meetings, the Betas' answers and suggestions are the second most important, being trusted advisers to the Alpha, only thinking for the good of the pack as a whole. The beta’s mate is called the beta female. She helps the Luna with caring for the pack. Rogues are theWerewolves that do not belong in a pack. Most are dangerous and cruel. They are usually hidden in the forest or in a cave somewhere." Dylan said
