The Protective Watchdogs

Hongjoong would immediately become wary. His concern isn't about Somin having a boyfriend, but rather his deeply ingrained instinct to protect her at all costs. Having known her since she was so young, he'd be intensely focused on ensuring she doesn't get hurt.

Similarly, Seonghwa would double down on his usual vigilance. While he wouldn't hover, everyone would know he's meticulously observing their every move. He'd want to understand the boyfriend's true intentions & ensure they're both on the same page about their relationship.

The Quiet Observers

Yunho, despite his intimidating height, would quickly prove to be the gentle giant Somin described. He wouldn't hover or fret like some of the others, preferring to leave the couple in peace. For Yunho, Somin's happiness is the ultimate priority, & he'd trust her judgment.

Much like Yunho, Mingi would take a more laid-back approach. He & Yunho would likely meet the boyfriend together, playfully intimidating the poor guy with their combined height. As long as Somin is happy, Mingi is happy. He'd silently observe from a distance, but if the boyfriend crossed a line, Mingi wouldn't hesitate to pull him aside for a serious "chat."

The Cautious & The Threatening

Yeosang would initially be a bit sheepish, unsure how to process the new relationship. While he'd largely stay out of their affairs, he wouldn't shy away from subtly reminding the boyfriend that if Somin were to be hurt, he'd have eight determined individuals to contend with.

The Jealous & The Enabling

San would be the epitome of overprotective. The idea of another man receiving Somin's love & attention would leave a sour taste in his mouth, as he views her as "his baby" to cherish & safeguard. Though he'd be civil, he'd definitely keep the boyfriend at arm's length.

Wooyoung would be consumed by jealousy. He'd react in one of two ways: either constantly vying for Somin's attention & attempting to "third-wheel" their dates, or completely distancing himself from her, making his disapproval of her boyfriend very clear.

Interestingly, Jongho would be the first to know about Somin's new relationship. He'd act as her accomplice, helping her sneak away from the other members' prying eyes for dates. Always having her back, he'd be the first to jump to her defense & would have been the first to meet her new boyfriend.
