As I was running laps I spent some time to think to myself. "Life is a loving clusterfuck of ups and downs but some people are harder than others." I've spent alot of time in my life training, always trying to become stronger than what people think I am. This made me faster than most of the girls and faster than quite a few of the guys in our class.  Finally I turned my attention back to class and away from the random confusion that is always in my head when I zone out. I noticed that Trey had caught up to me and was attempting to get my attention.

Waving his hands around in front of my face he asked,"How long have you been training for?"

I smirked and replied. "Since you were old enough to run." We talked as we finished the laps, but once we had finished, there was sill close to thirty minutes left in class.

I walked over to the bleachers and set down to catch my breath, Trey had walked over and set next to me and I asked. "Ok, so we've done all we need to do for class so what now?"

"Well now we can hang out here or you can leave like most people do." He replied. I looked back over to the track to see everybody else running there laps. Although there was one person that caught my attention once again, it was the girl from ealier she was leasilury walking around the track. She was drawling on a small sketch pad with a light smile splayed on her face. I smiled it was nice to see someone so calm and happy. I made a mental note to spend some more time with her later. She seemed like someone i could trust maybe even share my secret, Im not sure why but i felt like this place was different. "You know your laugh is cute right?"

I turnd my attention back to Trey and smiled. "Thanks I guess. Um, so you said that we could leave if we wanted to?" I asked.

"Yea, most people leave for lunch and sense we are seniors, a lot of seniors leave campus for lunch." I nodded my head and grabbed my bag before walking out to the hallway. I shook my head slightly letting my blue and black hair sweep across my eye. Looking around I spotted a familiar patch of red hair weaving it's way through the hall.

She ran up to me, "Hey bitch, let's go eat I'm starving."

I laughed, "Ok but I'm not really hungry right now so I think I'm just going to go outside. Come find me if you want." She nodded then I took off in the opposite direction heading outside and sitting beneath a shade tree, listening to my music. I had my volume up loud so I didn't notice someone come up and sit next to me. When I felt someone poke me in the arm I looked over, it was Trey. "What do you want?" I asked turning down my music.

"I just wanted to see what you were listening to, you seemed so calm." "Oh, um I'm listening to Edge of a Revolution by Nickleback." Just as I said that I looked up to see a small group of people walking over. It was Red, Lys, Sabrina, and Dylan.

"Hey everyone what's up?" I asked as the set down around us. Sabrina set down beside Dylan only to have fries stolen from off her plate.  "A particular red headed pain in the ass dragged us out of lunch and out into the heat." Lys popped off flipping Red off then continuing to talk.

"So tell us about yourself Katelyn." Sabrina said.

"I'm there's not really much to tell I'm a loner and we'll there's good reason for that, but my life doesn't really matter." I replied avoiding the subject, I didn't know if I could fully trust them with my  secret just yet. Standing up I said," we'll guys I have no more classes to go to today so I'm headed home." I said my goodbyes and promised to hang out more another time before starting to walk home. As soon as I got home I jumped on my motorcycle heading for the edge of town where the land turned from flat and barren to  a forest. I parked my bike and took off my helmet before slipping into the woods. I kept walking until I reached a clearing with a pond large enough to swim in. I slipped off my jacket and boots leaving me in just my pants and tanktop. As I slipped of my jackets I get my wings emerge from out of my back, they were beautiful but I almost never got to have them out, people tend to want to experiment on people that are different. Next, I stepped into the water letting it come up to to my ankle. Concentrating I began to move the water around to form different forms. My biggest secret, I could control water. I had just wrapped the water around my arms when I herd a gasp behind me. I turned around quickly letting the water drop. "Please I can explain.
