We tore down the streets leading to my house, all of us racing to get ahead of each other. Looking around I noticed everyone was accounted for besides Dylan, I focused around me feeling for his aura but turning up empty handed. I shrugged it off assuming we would meet up again at some point. Pulling up to my driveway I could see a cloaked figure sitting on there bike.
I immediately recognized it as Dylan's and pulled up beside him. "How?" i asked. He just shrugged and hopped of his bike. "If i gave away all my secrets then what would be the fun in them." Pressing a button on my bike, I opened the garage door letting everyone park before running inside. My moms an amazing cook and is notorious for always cooking way more than the two of us can eat alone.
After everyone was introduced we began to dig in, that was until someone got the bright idea to steal a piece of Josh's steak.
"Red give me the steak and no one gets hurt." Josh growled loading his spoon full of mashed potatoes aimed in her direction. Without a second thought she popped the steak into her mouth and stuck her tongue out in his direction. Next thing i know Dylan has a face full of potatoes and the war is on. Food was flying everywhere, I had a spoon loaded with corn aimed in Alex's direction. Lys was firing shots from behind a chair turned sideways, while Sabrina was hiding under the table preparing her weapon. The fight continued for a good ten minutes before we were all laying on the floor covered in food laughing our buts off at each other. Getting up,"come on guys lets clean up." Somewhere between scraping the potatoes off the ceiling and washing the dishes, we decided to have a movie marathon and spend the night watching anime.
The din in my house was set up with three big couches and a giant pile of colorful beanbags, which everyone quickly settled into as I turned on the first episode of my favorite anime. We spent the next few hours talking, eating popcorn, and having fun. Slowly as the night continued on everyone fell asleep one by one. Soon enough I was the last one left awake, I got up and went to the attic. To keep magic auras hidden a barrier must be put in place and maintained daily or else we would be in danger from hunters and demons. Not many mystics have the ability to just create these barriers at will, but i was blessed with special abliltys given to me by the moon wich allowed me to do just that. The attic was large with a balcony that lead outside, I was in charge of maintaining the barrier usually it only needs charged once a week but since there were so many mystics in the house tonight I was going to have to up its strength. Sitting down in the middle of the spell seal I chanted the spell that would strengthen the seal, I decided to make is a permanent change. I wanted my friends to be able to stay as long as they liked, we were family now after all. After the seal was strengthened I returned back downstairs to crash on one of the couches for the night.
