Okay so.. I started writing this oneshot book way back in early 2019.. and had gotten into The Arcana just a few months prior. I became a bit obsessed and my barely 13 year old self was like heheh.. yeahhhhhhh I'm gotta write some fanfiction..
In the end all my writing was terribly mediocre at best, cringy and embarrassing at its worst. But it made me happy. Even now every year or so I'll see emails of people still commenting on my stuff and I'm just like in awe like wow... the arcana fandom is still alive??? LMAO you must be in a severe fanfiction drought if you find my old junk 😭 and I mean seriously.. 97 THOUSAND reads??? Unbelievable.. actually unbelievable.
Anywho..... all this to say I've been missing my Arcana darlings and recently starting replaying the game at my big age. And I'm pleased to announce that I'm still a freaked out fangirl, in case anyone was concerned.
OH BUT OKAY NOW FOR THE ACTUAL LIKE SUBSTANCE OF THIS CHAPTER IM SORRY FOR GOING ON ABOUT NOTHING. UM!! IM WRITING AGAIN!! Just like generally- just writing- but as I started replaying The Arcana I was hit with a .... Certain.... Inspiration... which led me to start whipping up a little oneshot with the one and only Asra Alnazar..
Unfortunately I can't promise any more arcana fics after that but my writing has improved GREATLY since I made the first chapter of this silly little book and I can assure you at the very least it'll be a liiitle worth having to wait nearly five years for an update. (Hopefully)
Finally, I want to say that my old writing is mortifying. I hang my head in shame whenever I expose myself for having been a little freaked out 13 yr old with unrestricted internet access. But when I was writing it was great, it was fun, exciting, and a great way to express myself when no one else listened to me in the real world. To know that SO MANY people read even just a word of MY writing is just surreal. Anywho YEAH one more chapter coming and um THANK YOU!! yayayayaya
