Summary: Reader is alone and scared from the storm,
There was a violent rainstorm outside, very rare in Vesuvia honestly. You were at Muriel's hut sitting on his bed, anxiously waiting for his return.
He had left for unknown reasons and wouldn't let you come with.
Lighting started, you could hear the thunder from inside the hut.
You got up and made your way to the door, then reluctantly hovered your hand over the door knob.
"No..." You whispered to yourself. "He wants me to be safe. If I were to go out now, I would get lost and..." you sighed.
"I guess I'll listen to him this time..."
About thirty minutes had passed, you were teary eyed and shaking, terrified of what could be happening out there. You kept thinking about what could happen to Muriel out there, and what could happen to you if you were to go out there.
You were back in the bed, holding yourself, desperate for comfort. Then you heard the door open, and the thundering footsteps of your beloved.
He looked down at you, shocked.
"Muriel!" You exclaimed, relieved he was back.
He swiftly took off his cloak to reveal surprisingly dry clothing and skin.
He embraced you tightly, but not enough to hurt.
"I'm sorry.... for taking so long..."
"It's fine...just, tell me where you're going next time?"
"Ok, I will." You smiled and looked up at him. He smiled back.
You held his face in your hand and kissed him.
"I love you Muriel." He blushed.
"I-I love you too..."
I hope that was ok! Sorry it's so short...and the ending is kinda rushed...
