Moments later and Ari was skipping back with her phone out.
"...and delete." she muttered to herself. "I feel kind of mean leading him on..." she confessed.
"It's okay babe. Im pretty sure he didn't develop feeling of love for you that fast." Josh told her pulling her into his side.
"Well it's your turn now." I said pointing to Josh.
"Cool." he scanned the court, but Ari stepped in front of him an pointed over to a girl who was dressed like a complete slut. Most people would ask why you'd choose someone like that instead of a nerd or something, but Ari is well aware of the fact that Josh despises whores.
"Seriously?" he pouted and she nodded at him with a firm look.
"Fine." he grumbled and stomped off into the direction of the girl. Seconds later he was back with the number and a lipstick stain of his cheek which he was furiously rubbing at. Before he even got around to deleting the number on his phone, Ari took it and slammed it on the floor and crushed it with her feet. She then handed over the sim to Josh which she had taken out before her drastic action. After that, she stomped over to the girl and slapped her across the face and walked back flipping her hair over her shoulder and waving her middle finger at the shocked girl. Wow.
"The girl didn't do anything wrong." I sympathised for her. "She didn't know Josh had a girl friend."
"Actually she thinks my name is Hank." Josh grinned. Which caused all of us to laugh at his smartness. I shook my head and turned to Ash.
"Well it's your turn."
"Wait, what? You haven't had your go."
"Whaaa? I have haven't I?" I tried to play dumb.
"Yeah, no. Him." Josh replied pointing towards a guy in a jacket. He looked like one of them guys who thought that they were IT.
"Fine, but if I return with no number and a shrunken ego, you'll have to blow it up and but me cookies." I pointed at him and stomped over to the guy. I don't really enjoy playing with people's feelings plus I'm not a big fan of big headed jerks.
"Give me your number." I practically demanded while I slammed my hand on the table him and his mates, I'm guessing, were sitting at.
"What?" he asked bewildered.
"Take out your phone an give me your number so I can save it." I said slowly as if I was talking to a baby. I could here the others laughing because this table was just a little away from ours.
"Erm... I forgot my phone?" he asked more as a question. God it would've been smoother if I'd just been nice. Well I guess it's a bit late for that, he already probably thinks I'm a physco I don't want him to think I'm bipolar to.
"Look pal, we both know you wouldn't leave the house without your phone, so just get it out and give me the damn number."
"I'll give you mine." another boy from the the table said in a flirty tone. Urghh! Why are people so complicated and annoying?
Oh I'll tell you why, you're supposed to be nice when you want somebody number. The tiny voice in my head explains.
I don't want his number, but I need it. I explain back.
Same thing.
No, it isn't. Great, I'm arguing with myself.
"I don't want your frickin number!... Actually, give me your phone, I'll put mine in." I lie smiling fakely. The guy grabs his phone from his back pocket and shove it in my hands. Someone's looking for an easy lay.
