Chapter 9

I quickly rushed out the bathroom and into the walk-in-closet which was connected to it. I roughly grabbed the clothes which Nat had forced me to wear and slipped them on after drying myself.

After the race with my siblings, I'd revived the text from Ari and told her I'd be there. She said she'll make sure to wait out for me and vice versa. Only thing is, I am running a little late.

Liam and I decided to prank Nat after going back inside. We made a fake account on Kik and started to message her about random things and creep her out. One time we told her we knew what she was wearing two days ago an she got pretty creeped out and even ran downstairs where we were pretending to watch T.V and explained I us that there was this creepy stalker and she was going to call the police. That's when we told her the truth and thus she began chasing us and a pillow fight started. Once we were tired, we ate and then retreated to doing whatever we wanted. Then just before I was about to get ready to go out, Nat thought it'd be good to get Liam and I back for what we did and called us all downstairs by screaming her head off. Next thing we knew, the chef and cleaners were squirting us with water and that's how a water fight started.

Now here I am fumbling around the garage to find the right car. In the end I just ended up doing ip dip do and picking a random key to a random car.

I drove really fast most likely breaking speed limits to the Ouse where the party was held and parked about a couple streets away. I then ran to the house not wanting Ari to think that I'd stood her up. Once I reached there, I saw Ari and Josh getting out a car and once thy saw me, they wave at me to come over.

Josh had worn a dark t-shirt and jeans and had his hair in his usual style. Ari was wearing a tank top with a skirt and looked awesome with her hair in loose waves. I was glad that Nat had chosen my outfit or else I would've ended up coming in something way off. I had worn an aqua blue dress which reached just below mid thigh and some dark blue converses with some random brackets which matched perfectly. Nat told me to leave my hair as it is and said the outfit complemented my so called long legs.

"Wow you look great guys." I complemented the both of them.

"Thanks, you to." Josh replied as Ari was typing away on her phone.

"He said he'll be here in a couple of minutes." Ari spoke putting her phone away. I bobbed my head up and down guessing she was talking about Ash since he isn't here yet.

We waited a little while near Josh's car until we heard someone holler all our names. I had to squint my eyes due to the darkness and realised that Ash was sauntering over to us in dark jeans and a white t-shirt. His hair was up in messy windswept quiff which made him look really nice. The t-shirt he wore showed off his surprisingly muscular arms. He had not worn his glasses and his blue eyes seemed to look more vibrant.

"Wow." Ari and I said together then glanced at each other and started giggling.

"Hey guys." Ash spoke smiling while his hands were stuffed in his pockets.

"Hi."

"Hey."

"Aiyaa."

After we all greeted each other, we all made our way inside the house and gosh, that place was crowded. We all made it to the kitchen, some of us looking better than others. By that, I mean Ash had a lipstick stain on each cheek, Josh was blinking rapidly because he'd been shoved in the eye by a crazy dancer while Ari and I looked fine. When the boys gave us questioning looks as to how we weren't affected, I remembered the times Nat had dragged my to huge sales where ladies were practically jumping on one another to grab things.

"Elbows." Ari responded while pushing a guy away from her. He looked a little drunk and purposefully barged towards us again. Ari was about to yell at him when I stuck my palm on his face and pushed him away making him stagger back slightly and bump into a couple who were making out. The boy accidentally fell backwards on another guy making that guy fall forward into a girl's intimate part. Another guy came and punched him an soon the really loud noise from the party was turned up by the bickering coming from where we were. We all bursted out laughing while Josh grabbed mine and Ari's hands and I grabbed Ash's and we all pulled out of there and into the back yard.

"God that was..." Ash began looking for the right word.

"Epic!" Josh shouted causing us all to laugh.

"I need to sit down, these bloody heels are killing my feet. I freaking hate wearing freaking heels!" Ari rambled as she walked over to a deck chair opposite the pool and pulled off her heels.

"So why'd you wear them?" I asked.

"She thinks they give her protection." Josh responded.

"What?" I asked once again.

"One time at a party, a guy tried attacking her so she kicked him in the balls with her heels. The guy had to be taken to surgery and poor thing can no longer have children." Ash said in a pitiful voice although Josh looked as if he was on the verge of bursting out laughing, so when I did, he broke loose two.

"A-and then t-this one time," Josh took a breath to calm down and continued, "she was tired of wearing heels, so she took them off. We were walking across the grass when we heard sirens and saw a motorcycle whizzing past followed by police car. The cycle came past us and Ari threw her heel cursing it, it coincidently landed on the guy driving the motorcycle and he had to stop it. The police caught the guy and Ari ended up getting praises for her good throwing skills and fat thinking."

Then I started laughing again.

We all sat down on the lined deck chairs not feeling like we wanted to party when Josh piped up saying he knew what we could do. He told us to meet at school in fifteen minutes then ran off with Ari saying he has the emergency flats on his car.

"What do you think he's planning?" I questioned.

"I have no idea." Ash responded.

"Well come on, let's get going." I told him standing up.

"Where did you park?" Ash asked.

"A couple streets away. You?"

"Same."

We started walking around the back to get to the front and make our way towards our cars. Then I remembered something from the fight I'd took part in.

"Hey, what do you know about that Aristo guy from the fighting done thingy?" I questioned. Ash paused walking for a second then fidgeted a little.

"Nothing. I'm not a big fan of violence." he responded looking at the ground.

"Oh." I said nodding my head.

"Why?"

"Erm, I just, I don't know, just asking." I shrugged off. I thanked The Lord when Ash couldn't question any further because he said he'd reached his car. I waved at him and he asked if I wanted him to drop me to my car. I politely decline telling him it's just a couple cars away. He nodded and got into his car. I walked a little then came to a stop at my car. I got in and drove to school wondering what Josh had planned.
