Last lesson was science. It was one of my favourites because all my friends were in the same class as me and we got to sit wherever we wanted.

After the teacher came in and did registration, she began the lesson. Half way through once we'd completed the current mini-topic of the earth and beyond, she told us we had to complete a project in groups.

"You can work with whoever you want, just no more than five people per group. Also, don't leave the work to one person. You can use the rest of the lesson o plan the. I suggest you meet up after school to so that you can work on this more."

"So, who's house?" Josh asked after the teacher stopped talking. I thought since I'm new to the group, my house was off limits, but how wrong that prediction was...

"Sorry, my house is under decorating." Ari said putting her hands up.

"Can't. My parents are away and I'm living with Josh at the moment." Ash said also putting his hands up.

"My parents said they want the week off from the two of us so we have to stay out until night for the week." Josh justified putting his hands up to. Then all eyes turned towards me, the pencil which was between my fingers clattered onto the table as I looked up at their expectant faces.

"-uh..."

"This is the part where you say your house if free, well if it is." Josh nudged. I could just lie and say aliens destroyed it so it's getting re-built, but then it would've come up on news.

They're going to find out sooner or later, I mean it doesn't look like you're planning to leave this school anytime soon.

"Yeah, sure. You guys can come over."

"Cool. Let's just start today so we get it over and done with." Ari spoke looking at me if that was okay. I smiled a little nervous and nodded.

What would they think? Would they find me spoilt and snobbish? Or would they stop hanging out with me because I didn't tell them who I really was? What if they tell everyone else who I am and I have to move to another school? I mean there's only so many schools in this area I can transfer to.

No. They're your friends. If they are true friends then they won't let this effect our friendship.

After the bell went, we walked out the doors. I told the others to follow my car since they'd all come in there own cars besides Josh and Ash who'd shared cars.

Driving as slowly and steadily as I could, I was getting a lot of angry honks from people behind me. I was really nervous. I'm not going to lie. I'm scared. I'm scared of being abandoned by my friends. However I'm more scared of them using me. I know it sounds selfish, but what if they only hang out with me so they can take advantage.

They hag around you without knowing about your family. That means they're not going to use you.

What if they treat me differently?

I realised I'd unconsciously driven to my house as I thought about them seeing this view. I went down the driveway and parked on the side instead of the garage. I saw the other cars roll up behind me as I slowly pushed my door open. By the time I'd finally gotten out, the others were just closing the doors to their cars.

They did look slightly surprised, but nothing major. Which was expected as our house wasn't that big, probably a similar size to there's. I mean after all, their parents were pretty wealthy to. The part I was nervous about was actually going inside and them finding out what my famous siblings are like at home. How I'm related to them. There wasn't anything special about me, so I wouldn't be surprised if they questioned my genes.
