Merlin's Hospital's architect designer must have been the most boring designer in the world. The whole hospital building was so dull, anyone would have thought it was just a dungeon. It had grey coloured bricks, building up the walls, roofs, and rusty, pointy railings and fences. The rooms' overall look was decent enough, but they were all either blue or orange in colour.

The hospital was not really the 'get well soon' type.

Sophie tried hard to keep herself interested, by drawing different objects around her, and turning them into made-up creatures. She drew her bedside lamp into a fire-breathing dragon with a lamp shaped head, and the brick wall into a prickly beast made out of bricks.

"Good thing no one's here to visit me," Sophie sighed, "They would laugh their heads off if they see this."

There was a knock on the door, and in came her aunt Flora, with her red, rosy cheeks and her silver hair tied up on a bun. Sophie loved her aunt very much, as she was the only member of her family who was willing to take care of her, when her parents went to business trips.

"Are you alright, dear?", Aunt Flora asked, worriedly.

"Oh, I'm fine, it's just a broken nose," Sophie said, mustering her best smile.

"Doesn't look too good, looking all blue and purple," Aunt Flora inspected, "Well, make sure you have a good rest, because I'm going to go shopping for today's tea okay? Would you like some jam biscuits?

"Sure!", replied Sophie, thinking of all the jam biscuits and goodies - yum.

Aunt Flora left, and once she was going to sleep, putting down her blue Sharpie, there was another knock on the door - Aunt Flora? The nurse? Dr. Allison?

It was Jake. Jake Flemming! Sophie sat up, and hid her drawing book behind her pillow, and slipped her Sharpie in her pocket

"Hi, Sophie, just checking in," Jake reassured, looking at Sophie's shocked expression.

"Co-come in....", mumbled Sophie, confused and surprised. Why would anyone want to see her?

"Uh, so Jake, why did you come?", asked Sophie, suspiciously.

"Hey, we're friends right?", said Jake, grinning,"I've known you forever! My grandma was so worried about you - so she said to give you this."

Jake gave Sophie a packet of Sharpies, all in different shades of colours.

"WOAH! Thanks! Woohoo - Ouch. Ow." Sophie was so excited that when she smiled, her nose hurt.

Jake's face darkened. "Nancy. Nancy purposely hurt you with the football, right? You should've saw that?"

Sophie nodded. "Oh, that was nothing. It's a daily thing. Nothing much."

Jake's jaw dropped. "Sophie! Stand up for yourself, for goodness sake! Don't let some Nancy or Joshua hurt your feelings!"

Sophie stared at him, blank faced, and in a few moments, she giggled, "Jake, you sound like Mrs. Deagle!"

"But still!"Jake resisted.

"Okay, okay, Jake - I know Joshua and Nancy are idiots - but don't worry about me, it's my problem not yours." Sophie said.

Sophie and Jake talked about school for a few moments, until an odd looking nurse came in.

The nurse had a big bun plopped on top of her blonde-white hair. She wore a big white apron and a green striped dress. Her dress was frilly, and was dark red in colour. Her high heels were so high, her feet were bending in a ninety degree angle. But the utmost strangest feature was her eyes - her eyes were like a lizard's.

"Erghm...", said Jake,"Hi nurse.....Tamara?"

"Oh no, dear, my name isn't Tamara - I'm actually known as a Tamacon!", corrected Tamacon, rubbing her name tag.

"So, uh- Tamacon, what would you like from us?", asked Sophie, politely.

"Well, I'd like you to know that you better confess who you are before you perish in my hands," taking of her nurse gloves, revealing her scaly, bloody fingers.

Jake and Sophie gasped. Their face was full of frightened looks.

"I - uh I -I'm Sophie Lemon, ma'am - and this is - ahem- Jake," Sophie introduced, eyeing the nurse's hands with shock.

"NO! I mean your SPECIES!", roared Tamacon, revealing more of her abnormalities - dress becoming red fur, hair bun becoming three long spikes.

"We're humans! It's pretty obvious!", Jake grumbled, getting irritated.

However, Jake lost his last chance - Tamacon wasn't looking for that answer.

Tamacon's lizard eyes turned wider, and greener. Her fur turned into purple scales, and was glowing with heat.

"Nobody lies to me, especially Zightdons like you!",shrieked Tamacon.

"Zight-what?", asked Jake, confused.

"Nevermind that! Quick- get out of the room!", screamed Sophie, running towards the door.

As Sophie and Jake ran to the door, the Tamacon snapped her fingers, and the windows and doors transformed into being a part of the room's brick walls.

"Argh! What are we gonna do?" Sophie cried.

Jake and Sophie searched for every emergency exit, but there were not any. Jake was so impatient, he punched the brick wall - and all of a sudden - the wall broke, leaving a narrow passageway.

"Oh gods, my hands feel numb," Jake said, rubbing his hands, "Get inside!"Jake panted," Go, go, go!"

Sophie and Jake took a deep breath, and jumped down the narrow passageway, hearing Tamacon's cry of failing to kill them.

Down the eleven year olds went, not knowing where they'll end.
