Thank you all so much for reading! I know it's been a blast writing this for me, and I hope you've enjoyed reading just as much. I'm sad to let this go, but there's nothing more I can do :(

I have a few things I'm planning on writing, but I'm going to finish the Whofic that I started before I do anything else. I think what I'll do after I finish that is either this story, but in Sherlock's POV, or a MorMor-WhoLock fic. Comment telling me which of those two you think I should do first.

I owe you all so much and I love every single one of you!

Make sure you vomment, fan, and tell your friends and their friends and anyone that will listen so that the story doesn't die! Make 60 Ways to Say Goodbye a legacy!

Goodbye for now!

Chapter 24

I woke up on the morning of August 7 in a daze. The day had just begun and there were already butterflies in my stomach. Still lying in bed, I looked out the window. It was sunny out. That seemed like a good sign to me.

I stretched my arms over my head and smiled. We had made it.

I was getting married today.

To the best man in the universe.

I was to be John Holmes. Yes, I liked the sound of that.

There was a knock at the door.

"Yes?" I called.

Sherlock popped his head in the door, making my smile grow bigger.

"We should start getting ready," he suggested. I nodded, throwing the covers away and hopping out of bed. I crossed over to the closet where our tuxes were hanging. I handed Sherlock his.

"See you later," I said and winked before closing the door.

I stared down at the white tux in my hands. God, this was really happening, wasn't it?

Whenever I, as a boy, had pictured getting married, it was nothing like this. I was going to get married to a woman and have actual, biological children with her.

But though I wouldn't be able to have kids with Sherlock, this was so much better than I had ever pictured it.

I changed into my tux and spent a good couple of minutes looking at myself in the mirror before I decided I was ready.

I walked into the flat, seeing that Sherlock had left already. We agreed that we would go separately, like a proper engaged couple about to get married.

However, we were going to walk down the isle together, so as not to distinguish who was the 'bride'.

"See you in a bit, Mrs. Hudson!" I called as I flew down the stairs.

"Good luck, Mr. Holmes," I heard her saying. It brightened the smile that was permanently plastered on my face.

I walked proudly and confidently down the street to where I knew I could catch a cab. I wasn't going to even try and take the chance of walking to the park where the wedding was. I was wearing white, and I had to keep myself clean.

In the cab, the driver started to make conversation. "What's the occasion?"

"I'm going to my wedding," I responded.

"Oh, I'll bet your fiancé made you wear white, eh?" He laughed.

"No, he didn't make me. I just want to see him in black," I smiled to myself.
