Midnight Date

a/n : ello ! here's this week's chapter ! :) well, I'm going overseas for a holiday for two weeks, so I'll probably update one or two more chapters soon before I leave, and for two weeks there won't be any updates D: cause there's no wifi ): 

oh, and don't think that Natsu's too OOC for this chapter :) I made them about twenty five in this chapter, with the mindset that they both matured/changed a little (: after all, time does change people, doesn't it ?

"Hey Luce, meet me at the park at 12 won't you ?"

"Midnight ?" Lucy exclaims.

"Yeah Luce. You'll get to see Magnolia's Park at it's beauty." Natsu replies.

"Okay, but this had better be good !"

At midnight, one can find Lucy Heartfilia sitting under the cherry tree of Magnolia Park, with Natsu Dragneel, sipping tea.

"A picnic at midnight ? Honestly, Natsu, your logic can be a little off." Lucy admits, biting on a sandwich.

"I planned it this way for something special, Luce." Natsu replies, chomping on his fire chicken.

"This is certainly a romantic setting. It's just like a date." Lucy says, smiling.

"It is a date Luce." Natsu answers, grinning.

Really ? A date ? Natsu bringing her on a date ?

"I didn't know," Lucy says, blushing.

"Now you do. Ah look! The fireflies are out !"

It is a enchanting and enticing sight ! The glowing fireflies full of life and energy floating around the natural night beauty of Magnolia Park gives off a dreamy feel. It enthralls Lucy to no end, and a smile appears on her face. This is amazing !

"Nastu... this is amazing !"

"I know, I wanted to share this with you Luce !"

"Oh Natsu..." Lucy says, a small smile on her face.

"And I would also like to say, Lucy, I love you."

"How corny!"

"Don't spoil the mood !"

"I love you too Natsu !" Lucy says, giggling.
