Alone with Klaus

Caroline's POV

It's been a week since I had that dream about Klaus since then I couldn't stay in the same room with Klaus alone for more than 10 minutes, so I stay the week avoiding him and the only time I was with him was when we were all together or talking or eating or something like that... I am living in the same house that he is which made this even more complicated, he is the only thing I can think about: his accent, his eyes, his muscles, his abs, his curly blonde-dirty hair, how he says love, the moments he flirt with me...

I was with my thoughts when I received a text from Rebekah asking for meting her in the living room in 3 minutes, I curled my hair, because it was a mess, I was the all morning in my bedroom... When I get to the living room I saw Klaus.

"Hi! Did you see Rebekah?" I asked him.

"Hello love and no... I am waiting for her." He said.

"I can't believe that she tricked me with the oldest trick in the book..." I said to myself.

"Care to explain love..." Klaus said confused.

"She wants us to talk to each other like we used to..." I said and then I saw a note in the table.

"I am sorry for tricking you, but you need to talk to each other. Bonnie spelled the room, you guys will be stuck for the rest of the day. I am going to be with Enzo, Bonnie and Kol in some hotel, Elijah went to Rome, he had some issues to deal with. I hope you forgive me. Xoxo Rebekah."

"I can't believe it." I said after reading the note and then I give it to Klaus.

"I am going to dagger her for a century." Klaus said with a load voice and I just rolled my eyes.

"How she had the guts to do this? Who she think she is? She can't wait for my revenge... I can't believe she did this." I said to myself.

"I think I am going to thank her." Klaus said to himself smirking.

"Thank her?! For what?" I asked furious.

"For making me be prisoner in a room with the most beautiful..." He was saying smirking.

"Stop with that." I said cutting him off.

"With what?" He asked getting closer to me and with the usual smirk in his face.

"With the all I can flirt with anyone I want and I am so hot..." I said with British accent mocking him.

"What did you just said?" He said chuckling.

"What?"

"You think I am hot!"

"No. I think you think that you are hot." I said and he smirked.

After that we seat in the couch and were in silence for a while.

"Caroline..." OMG how I loved when he said my name. No. Focus Caroline, I thought.

"Yes?"

"What did I did? Why are you avoiding me?" He asked looking at me and I saw sadness in his eyes.

"I don't want to talk about it." I said.

"Please, I need to know..." He said seating next to me.

"I... We... What we have..." I said and he looked at me confused "Look Klaus, if someone asked me what you are to me, a friend, a friend with benefits, a stranger, a guy that I happen to know... I don't know what to answer... I don't know what we are." I said and I start playing with my daylight ring, every time that I am nervous or something like that I do that.

"Caroline... I also don't know what we are, but do you think that is a good reason so you would avoid me?" He asked, then he hold my hand and saw the flashback that I was having.

Flashback (AN: I know this didn't happen):

I was in the Grill drinking when Tyler showed up and went to talk to me.

"I still can't believe you had sex with him." Tyler said.

"Tyler, I don't want to hear you right now. You almost kill me tonight just because you found out about what happen between me and Klaus..." I said drinking more of my bourbon.

"You don't understand, do you? Klaus just came here to prove that he can have whatever he wants. He did want you because you were with me and always refuse to be with him, but now... Now you are just some girl who he had sex with. You were his toy and now that you give him what he wanted, you are no use, you're nothing to him."

"Tyler..." I warned him.

"Why do you think he is back to New Orleans?" He asked. "You know what your problem is seeing the good in people..."

"You mean Klaus... My problem was because I saw good in Klaus." I said.

"That was all just an illusion Care." He said calmly then added "He is a monster."

"It was not an illusion, I saw it. Just because he doesn't show it doesn't mean that he is evil or something like that. By the way, we are all monsters, but not all monsters do monstrous things..." I said and after a minute of silence I added "You are nothing compared to him. Between the both of you, you are the monster because you are the one who prefers revenge."

"I can't believe you're defending him. You can't see clearly anymore, can you? He was the one who killed my mother, my friends..."

"He was also the one who free you to come back to Mystic Falls" I said cutting him off and then I get out.
