I arrived at my new school called, lance high school. The founder or maybe in this case the

government, since it was a public school, couldn't think of other name to call it. I mean who named a

school lance high school, weird, just like every other weird situations in my life.

I walked into the administrator office where I saw a lady with blonde hair, she looked very busy

and tired, judging from the bags under her eyes.

"Hi, I'm Mia Woods"  I greeted

"Hello how may I help you?" She said distractedly

"I uh I'm new and-"

"Oh dear, you are ! sorry", she exclaimed and continued "Sorry, my mind was just all over the place at

the time, I'm Mrs Alexander by the way", she said as she moved stuff around her desk and asking for

my documents.

After finishing all the procedure she handed me my schedule. I looked through it and realized that I

had chemistry first period. Finding the class wasn't hard. When I went inside I introduced myself to

the teacher and happy that the teacher didn't asked me to introduced myself to the class-that

would've been a total disaster. The period ends and I went to all my other classes easily, this was just

a medium sized school, finding all mu classes was easy. something I liked about this school already.

empty table and sat there. I didn't have any friends at any of my schools. No one ever wanted to talk

to the weird girl who doesn't dress right or talk, people called weird, creepy or freaky, either one of

those three. I just ignored them, It was just so easy pretending to not have heard what they are saying

about  me, because after a while they forgot about me, I became invisible and I liked it that way. I

didn't want any friends or boyfriends for that matter, sure i've seen guys I had a normal crushes on

but they never noticed me and even though I preferred for them not to, there is just that tiny bits

inside me that hoped for them to and not see me as being weird, but normal, but the majority parts,

the parts that constantly reminds that my life was far from normal and  keeps me from including

people  in my baggage. I'm almost perfectly fine the way I am- friendless.

I didn't bring lunch and I didn't have any money for lunch, since I wasn't given any allowance or

allowed to get a job. I sat there and pull out my copy of To kill a mockingbird  and continued reading. I was almost half way through the book when I heard someone screamed. it was a girl scream and it
