2:Flannels and Leather Collide.

"Yo,Lighty! Hurry up! We're bout to miss first period!" I heard one of Lighty's friends yell once we pulled up at school. "I'll see you later little brother. Don't go breaking hearts today." She said with a small smile. I just gave her a smirk. "It's what I know how to do" I replied. She only spared me a 'we'll talk later' glance and rushed off towards her group of friends. I started off towards my first class which was art. I completely sucked at it. I'm more of a music kinda guy. 'There's just something about the songs that my favorite artists write and it fits my whole situation perfectly.' I thought. I smiled a little at the thought but was brutally brought back to the real world by someone bumping into me making the person drop all of their books. "Oh I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention" the boy with the leather jacket said quietly. "It's fine. I should be apologizing." I said while helping him pick up his books off the floor. He gave a small smile and a 'thanks' before walking off. "Love the jacket!" I yelled. "Mikey!" I quickly turned my head to see my best friends Lauren and Liam walking towards me. "Hey wassup guys?" "Nothing,who was that you were talking to??" They asked in unison. "Woah you guys seriously need to stop doing that." I chuckled quietly and continued walking to my class with them following behind me. "Whatever Mikey,who was that?" Lauren asked again. "It was nobody laur. Just somebody I bumped into and I helped them pick up their books,that's all." I said with an eye roll. She looked at me suspiciously then looked at Liam who gave her a knowing look. They both looked at me with a smirk and then just walked away. 'I will never understand them.' I thought. After that whole weird encounter I finally got to my class 28 minutes late. 'Just peachy' I thought before I walked into the room."28 minutes and 35 seconds late Clifford" I heard the all but pleasant voice of Mr.Cather. "Wow,you never cease to shock me with your precise timing Mr.C" I said sarcastically. "Take a seat Clifford before you get another detention." He said with a glare on his face. "Gladly" I said with a smile that just made him groan in frustration. I laughed and went to my usual seat in the back of the class where I saw two people who weren't usually there. I sat down and took out my books. "Hi,I'm Camila Cabello." The petite girl with long curly hair said. "Wassup,I'm Micheal but call me Mikey." "Oh ok then 'Mikey' " she winked and put emphasis on 'Mikey' I laughed and she smiled and continued. "How long have you been going to Leefield Pres Highschool?" She asked curiously. "Shouldn't I be asking you that since I've never seen you here before in my life?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. "Oh yeah I moved here from my hometown to start school because I wanted something different. And bonus,my girlfriend and best friend go here." She said with a content sigh. "OH! This is my best friend Zayn but call him Zee." She pointed to the guy with the tattoos and piercing eyes sitting next to her. "Hey man" he said then went back to drawing. "Excuse him,he's kinda closed off to new people but he's an awesome guy though." She said with a smile. "It's cool. You both seem like really cool people." I said truthfully. 'I like how chill they are' I thought. "Why thank you" she flipped her hair for dramatic effect and we both laughed out loud. "So,do you have any siblings or know anyone here?" She asked. "Yeah,my sister and I go here. We live a couple blocks away actually. And before you ask,we live alone temporarily." I said. "Oh ok. Why do you say temporarily?" "Our parents are on a business trip so it's us for like 2 more months." I told her. "Oh that seems awesome!" She said cheerily. "Yeah it can be pretty awesome but sometimes a bit boring what with a 17 year old guy and his 18 year old sister" I shrugged. She looked at me with confusion on her face. "What's your sister's name if I may ask?" "Lighty Leigh Clifford" I said matching her confusion. "Oh,I know her! We're best friends! That was me and Zee calling her over today so we could walk to our classes together" she said with happiness very obvious on her features. "Oh wow,I didn't even notice you guys. I assume you don't know my friends Lauren and Liam?" I said still very shocked Lighty didn't tell me about them. "YOU KNOW LAUREN AND LIAM?!" She screamed. 'Oh my goodness how have we not been caught whispering in class yet!' I thought. "Um yeah. They're my best friends?" I said in a 'duh' voice. "Lauren is my girlfriend and Liam is Zee's man over here." She nudged his shoulder and he looked confused until she told him and he smiled and went back to drawing. "So it looks like we all know each other here then?" She nodded her head eagerly. "Wow small world" I said humorously. "That is true. So how about-" 'RING!!!' "Oh that's the bell,how about we all get together sometime?" I said while gathering my things. "Woah,mind reader much?" She said. "What?" I said,obviously confused by her words. "Nothing. We gotta go but we'll see you and Lighty later!" She yelled walking out. "Get our numbers from Lighty or Lauren!" I heard her shout before they were both out of sight. 'Well today sure was eventful.' I thought before chuckling and walking out of the classroom.
