''I barely even need them anymore, come on, now.''

''Shut up and use your crutches.''

Soo Ho sighed as he got up from his desk, using his crutches to support himself. He swung his packpack on his shoulders and stood up straight, then lifted both crutches off the ground. ''See, I'm fine!''

Y/n raised an eyebrow. ''Okay. Walk out of the classroom.''

''Fine!'' Soo Ho took a step, then another. For a second, Y/n almost thought he would make it out, but he quickly brought down his crutches to support himself before he tipped over. ''Okay, okay! Maybe a few more days with them.''

''Your physiotherapist said months, Soo Ho.'' Y/n said as the two walked out of the classroom. ''Give yourself time. Better recover now than have problems for the rest of your life.''

''Yeah, yeah, you're right as always, cutie.''

Walking down the slope of Byoksan High School with crutches looked like a challange in Y/n's eyes, but Soo Ho was managing just fine. Regardless, Y/n kept looking over at Soo Ho, ready to try and catch him if he started rolling down. Though, Y/n was pretty sure even if she did try to catch him, she'd just get pulled and start rolling down with him.

''Baku just texted that they just finished school, too, and are on the way.''

''Baku? Block him.''

''In the group chat, Soo Ho.''

''Block him anyway.''

Soo Ho had developed a rather childish dislike towards Baku ever since that comment he'd made at the hospital. Soo Ho now lived with the thought that Baku likes Y/n, regardless of how many times the boy had apologized. Y/n knew Soo Ho was just messing with him, though. They got along pretty well in general, so it was funny.

''Do you want to take a taxi or walk to the cafe?''

''Let's walk. The physiotherapist said it's good to move around.''

Y/n's eyes widened. ''Oh my God, Soo Ho.'' She put a hand over her heart. ''You're listening to your physiotherapist! I'm so proud.''

Soo Ho scoffed and tried to crutch away faster.

''HEY!'' Y/n increased her pace slitgly to catch up.

They were the first one at the cafe, the one Si Eun and Y/n used to frequent by themselves before. Now, Si Eun's two friend groups had basically merged, and all five of them hung out together pretty often.

Y/n and Soo Ho made their way to the usual table, and as Soo Ho sat down, Y/n took the crutches and put them to the side so he can sit comfortably. ''Thanks, cutie.''

''No worries. Do you want to order now or wait for the others?''

''We can wait.'' Soo Ho stretched his legs out and laid his arms on the backrest of the couch. Y/n looked down at her phone to text the others that they were already there when she felt Soo Ho grab a strand of her hair and twirl it around his finger.

''What's up?'' Y/n asked as she pocketed her phone.

''Nothing. Just admiring how pretty you are.'' Y/n scoffed and looked away, feeling her cheeks burn red. ''And I just wanted to thank you.''

She furrowed her brows and looked back at him. ''Thank me for what?''

''For everything. Visiting me at the hospital, waiting for me to wake up, helping me with school and therapy and just life. I don't know how I would've made it without you.''

''Since when are you so sappy . . .'' Y/n mumbled, then grabbed his free hand and laced their fingers together. ''But you don't have to thank me. I'd do it all over again . . . though I would prefer if you don't go into another coma.''

''And miss more time with you? Never.''

''You guys are so cute, it's disgusting.'' Y/n and Soo Ho looked at Gotak, who was making his way to sit down across from Soo Ho. Jun Tae sat next to him. ''Making the rest of us feel lonely as fuck.''

''Shh, let them experience their teen drama moments,'' Baku said, his hands in his pockets. He was smiling until his grin dropped and he looked away, pretending her hadn't said anything.

Y/n looked at Soo Ho, who was looking at him with furrowed eyes and a smirk. She could almost hear him say, You wish that was you, huh?

''I'll go order. What do you guys want?'' Si Eun spoke, his face as neutral as usual. At least Y/n knew he didn't feel forced to come, as he was the one who'd organized the hang out.

Once everyone told him, Si Eun and Baku went to order for everyone. Y/n leaned back, listening as Gotak talked about their latest basketball game.

The table was full again. Bum Seok and Young Yi weren't there this time. She never wanted to see Bum Seok again, though, so that was fine. Young Yi was gone. But that was fine. She had her friends now, new and old. That was fine with her.

Most importantly, she had Soo Ho back. What else could she ask for?
