When Riley and Maya arrived at the Matthews apartment, Riley saw her dress laying on her bed with a dress cover over it.
"Are you excited?" Riley asked her friend.
"Yeah, are you sure it doesn't bother you that I'm going with Lucas?" Maya asked.
"Not a bit! I got a date!" Riley answered.
"Who?"
"That guy, Brandon, the one I told you about..."
"You did have a crush!"
The girls laugh, get a snack and then go back into Riley's room.
"Riles, do you have a dress I can borrow?" Maya asked her best friend.
"Yep" Riley answered.
She went into her closet and pulled out 3 dresses. A red, sleeveless, dress that went to her knees. A light yellow, long dress with a darker yellow buckle. And finally a hot pink dress with black spot, that went up to her knees.
"Pick one?" Riley asked her blonde friend.
"Um, the red one."
"Great choice." Riley said, "Let's get them on!"
Maya took her dress and Riley took hers. Maya went into the bathroom to change, while Riley waited in her room. Riley uncovered her dress.
"Ahh" Riley screamed.
Maya rushed into the room, she had her dress on, golden colored flats and a little lipstick.
Riley pointed to her dress. Before the girls eyes was a orange painted, torn up dress with mud on it.
"First, Maya you look amazing! Second, WHAT HAPPENED?" Riley stated. She looked like she was about to cry.
"I don't know..." Maya said, "But I do know that this can't ruin your night! Here, wear this, it's way better than that dress." She handed her friend they yellow dress.
Riley walked out of the room, got dressed and did her make up. She came back into her room, looking stunning.
"Riles, I think we have just enough time to watch a rerun of 'Sing It Loud'."
"Yay!"
The girls walked into the main room of the apartment and turned on the tv as they waited for the boys to arrive.
