Girl Meets Making-Up

Riley walked up to Maya.

"Maya, I really want to apologize. I shouldn't have let a boy come between us." She apologized.

"It's fine, Riles."

The girls hugged and everything was good.

"Riley, where were you during history class?" Farkle asked Riley.

"I was at the library. I met a guy and he made me realize I made a mistake." She answered.

"A guy?" Maya asked, lifting her eyebrow up.

"Maya!" Riley lightly pushed Maya, blushing.

"Riley has a crush! Riley has a crush!!" Maya announced happily.

"Maya!" Riley said, "I don't have a crush!"

"Okay, sure." Maya said sarcastically.

The students were taken outside and told to do laps. Maya was far up, and not next to anyone, so she started to hum. She has never sung in front of anyone before. She was nervous.

She only sang doing laps or in her bedroom. So naturally she started. Maya thought that there was no one close enough to hear but she was wrong.

Lucas trailed behind her. He listened to her sweet voice.

"She is way more talented then most celebrities." He thought to himself.

Soon enough the school day was over. Maya texted Lucas that they should study at Riley's mom's bakery ' Topanga's '. They have been doing their project there every night. They decide not to go back to the library. Because of the fall.

Maya walked into the bakery wearing a dark purple shirt and dark blue jeans. She saw Lucas at their usual table with a poster board in front of him. She walked over to him and sat down.

"Hey sundance" Maya said, referring to Lucas.

"Hey" Lucas said back.

"So, let's start." Maya said.

"I heard you singing." Lucas blurted out.

"What?" Maya asked.

"Your amazing."

Maya's cheeks turned red. No one has said that to her before. She liked it.

"Uh, thanks." Maya said.

After that they started to work on the project for a while. They got a lot done. Soon it was time to say goodbye.

Lucas had held in his feels for Maya the whole time. He desperately wanted to tell her. But the day was way to hectic. He would wait to tell her those three words dying to come out.

How did you like it? I don't know if it's that organized. Tell me if it is.

I left a little cliffhanger.

If you didn't know the assignment is due Friday. And this is the end of Wednesday. I had to change Girl Meets Blame to make it one day so the story doesn't end so quickly. If I did they project would be due in the next chapter and I didn't want that.

Anyway, I really want to read some good books. Any suggestions?
