Time To Talk

*Alfie's P. O. V *

It was 1pm when Zoe woke me up saying she needed to talk to me about something important. I felt really nervous the entire time i was showering and getting dressed because i had no idea what it could be about.
As i made my was downstairs my mind was filled with ideas of what it could be. 'What if she wants to leave me?' i asked myself and i could feel tears start to form in my eyes. I couldn't loose her, i love her way to much!

I enterd the kitched where Zoe was busy making coffee for us while Nala lay in the corner Sleeping. Zoe looked up at me as she placed my cup before me and motioned for me to sit down. We sat across from each other at the table and i could feel myself become more and more nervous by the second.

"Alfie, we need to talk about something " her sweet voice said quietly as she brought the cup up to her lips, slowly sipping on her coffee. " What's going on Zo? " i asked terrified and she gave me a reasuring smile.
" for the past few weeks I've really been thinking about it and i truely believe you and me can do it Alf"she said and i gave her a confused look "Do what exactly?" i asked. "I want to adopt a child Alfie" she suddenly said and i could feel a smile spread across my lips....

I immediately jumped up and pulled her up into my arms placing millions of little kisses all over her face. "Ofcourse we can Little one!" i exclaim before placing a gently kiss to her perfect lips. A massive smile spread across her face as she engulfed me inna hug. "we are gonna be great parents Alf!" she said happily.
"Let's jeep it our secret for now though" she added and i nodded in excitement.

That night Joe, Caspar, Louise, Matt and Darcy came over for dinner and we had a lovely pasta with creamy cheese sause. The evening was spwnt laughing and joking around, Alfie and Joe even filmed a video together. Darcy fell asleep at around 11pm so Matt and Louise said it was time to head home. After saying goodbye to them i went and joined Zoe on the couch where she and the boys were watching Frozen for the millionth time. At around 1am Joe amd Caspar finally left and Zoe amd i finally went to bed.

"Goodnight Alfie" Zoe whisperd as she snuggled her haid into my chest. "Goodnight little one" i whisperd back as i placed a kiss on her head before falling asleep after and long and exciting day.
