I Love You

*Zoe's P. O. V *

I was suddenly woken by the sound of screaming and i immediately jumped out of bed and ran towards Faith's room. I went straight in to find her sat straight up with tears screaming down her face. I rushed to her side andnpulled her into my armsnas she cried some more. "What happened?" i asked her as i ran my fingers through her hair in anneffort to calm her down. "I had a nightmare" her voice was in a whisper and i strained to hear her. "sorry for waking you Zoe." she apologised and i shook my head, "It's alright" i gave her a small smile. "Do they happen often?" i asked her and she nodded her head slowly. "almost every night" she said and i frowned. "What are the about?" i asked and a flash of fear ran through her eyes. "It's usually me locked in a room that's on fire, i scream and scream but no one saves me" she says as a single tears runs down the length of her cheek. I pull her into a hug once again before placing a kiss to the top of her head.

"Will you be okay now? " i ask justnas a yawn escapes my lips and i frown. Faith nods and i turn to leave. Just as i step out the door Faith calls my name. "Zoe?" she asks, "Yes?" i reply. She looks almost embarrassed and i make my way back towards her, gently closing the door behind me so we dont wake Alfie who i could hear snorring from down the hall.

"This is really embarrassing, but... Could you maybe stay with me? " she asked and a small smile spread across my lips. I went around to the other side of the bed and got in beside her under the covers.

"Thankyou" she whisperd as she snuggled into me.
Not even a minute later Faith was fast asleep beside me and i looked down at her. She was mine and Alfie's daughter. "Sleep well Beautiful girl" i whisperd before placing a kiss on her forehead, "I love you." and with that i fell asleep soon after.

The last thing i heard before i drifted off was Zoe saying that she loves me.
