It's Her!!!

*Zoe's P. O. V *

It was currently 10am and Alfie and i were in the car heading to the local orphanage to adopt a child. We had decided we want a teenager because things were too hectic in our lives for a younger child. On the whole ride there Alfie and i were singing along to the radio. The car ride took about an hour before we pulled up infront of the big red building.

As we walked up to the door Alfie took my hand in his amd gave it a reasuring squeeze before pressing the doorbell. We stood waiting for about 5 minute when the door opend to reveal a woman wh looked to be in the mid 30's. "Hi, I'm Connie" she introduced herself as the care giver. "I'm Zoe and thia is Alfie" we shook her hand before being led into a tiny office.

"Will you be alright to wait here while i assemble all the kids in the game room? " she asked and we nodded before she left the office. Alfie and i smiled at each other excitedly as the sound of lots of footsteps echoes through the hallway. After waiting for ten minutes Connie came and called us into the game room.

As Alfie and i walked in we were met by the excited eyes of around 20 kids, all aged between 2 and 9. There were also 3 babies in cribs by the window. Connie smiled at us expectantly as each child introduced themselves. After meeting them all Alfie amd i stepped into the hall for a moment to talk.

"These kids are all adorable, but my heart is set on a teenager " alfie said and i agreed. As we were talking we suddenly heard something shatter upstairs and Alfie and i immediately ran towards the sound, Connie right behind us. As we reached the top of the stairs we could here a voice angrily complain from down the hallway. We followed the sound into a bedroom with White walls, a bed, a desk and a nightstand. In the corner of the room there was a girl with her back towards us, busy picking up broken glass that seemed to be from a photo frame. She hadn't heard us come in yetnso when she turned around she ended up dropping the glass again as she staired at us in shock.

"It's you! "i suddenly exclaim stepping closer towards the girl who had a surprised look on her face." It's the girl from the shops Alf!" i said excitedly and Alfie smiled happily know that he understood.

"What happend Faith?!" Connie suddenly asked as she motioned towards the glass on the floor. "I dropped the photo frame that you got me for my birthday Connie, I'm so sorry" the girl's eyes filled with tears as she began to cry. "It's alright darling" Connie tried comforting her.

"Um.... Sorry " Alfie said and both Connienand the girl suddenly looked up as if they only then Remembering that we were stood there. I immediately noticed the girl's breathing quicken and her eyes become wider.

" I'm so sorry! " Connie apologised half embarrassed. "Zoe, Alfie, This is Faith, she's the old here and she helps me take care of the little ones." aConnie said and a nervous wmile crossed Faith's lips "So have you seen anyone you like? "She asked and i nodded my head happily." That's Great, who? " the girl suddenly spoke up and a small smile crossed my lips and i knew Alfie was thinking the same thing that i was.

" We want to adopt Faith" Alfie said and a look of pure shock spread over both Connie and Faith's faces.
