Everyone's P.O.V
As the Fall Festival carried on, no one knew that one of their most broken pack members had just left.
Ryder carried on dancing with pretty girls and laughing with his friends. He wasn't fully happy though. The thought of his mistake of rejecting Amber disgusted him and made him feel regretful. He thought he was doing the right thing, but he now realized how stupid he was. He knew he had to try and make things right with her.
Anthony Williams and his mate/wife, Collette Williams, were both looking at eachother lovingly. Then, they heard their son guffaw loudly at something one of his friends must have said. They both looked towards him and smiled at their sons happiness. They looked towards their older daughter and also smiled as they saw her dancing and being silly with her friends. Then, both their smiles dropped. It was times like these when they were the most ashamed of themselves.
They already had guilt eating them alive everyday as they thought about Amber. They countinued through the festival with their momentary happiness a little dimmed.
Violet Williams was dancing and laughing with her friends when she thought she saw a glimpse of her sisters sad face. But, when she looked back, it was gone. She shook herself and went back to her friends. She knew that while she was here having a great time, her little sister was most likely in her room, sad and wondering what it is that she did wrong. Violet was overcome by guilt when she thought of how she treated her sister. It was her little sister! She should be protecting her. Being her best friend like she's supposed to be. She was so ashamed at what she had turned into. Everyday Violet thought about Amber, and every day she felt more guilty.
Kyle Williams laughed loudly at the story that one of his friends told. His best friend Ryder, the future Alpha, came over and started up a conversation with him. Suddenly an arm started to tug on Ryder's arm. It was Ryder's little sister, Jasmine. She was 14 years old.
"Hey Ryder, mom wants to talk to you." Jasmine said.
"Fine. See yah later Kyle?" Ryder asked.
"Yeah, bye." He responded. He was too caught up in his thoughts to pay attention. He had seen Jasmine and then started thinking about his own little sister. He thought about how much she was like Jasmine before they found out she couldn't shift. She was kind, social, fun, and was loved by lots of people. He thought guiltily about how horrible he was. He wasn't protective of her like he used to be. He wasn't there for her, he didn't help her prank their sister or parents like they used to. He didn't act like her older brother. He hated himself for it. Every time he saw Amber, he wish he had the guts to defend her like he used to. But, he was to worried about his own freaking pride to do anything. He wished he wasn't a coward.End of Winter Festival
At the end of the festival, like always they all gathered in front of the screen. The video started, but instead of a veteran, it showed Amber with tear stains. Immediatly whispers started.
"Hello Blue Moon Pack. I know this isn't the video you were expecting, but I promise that video will show after this."
Amber took a deep breath.
"This is my goodbye video." Her voice cracked on goodbye.
"I'm leaving this pack for good. I can't be apart of it anymore. First thing I want to do is apologize. I'm sorry that I'm not the strongest pack member. I'm sorry I'm not good enough to be in your pack. You're better off without me. So that's why I've left. After years of people's bullying and my family ignoring me, even my mate rejecting me...I've gotten the message. I'm. Not. Wanted. Today something happened that changed me and made me take a step."
She took a step back in the video...and changed into a wolf! There were gasps all around and whispers flying everywhere. Amber went off screen and came back, into her human form with clothes.
"I want to say that even though I changed into my wolf, I don't want to be apart of this pack. Even though I might have finally been accepted, I don't want to be apart of it. You guys didn't want me before, you're not allowed to have me now."
She breathed in deeply.
"Mom and Dad? I want to say that I used to think you guys would be with me the whole way. I guess not. Where were you when I needed you? When I needed my parents love because of the bullying. Or on my birthday. On my birthday, you didn't say happy birthday to me. You didn't hug or kiss me on the cheek. You didn't even look at me!" She yelled towards the end of it and broke down sobbing. When she controlled herself she looked up at the camera again. Her eyes full of so much pain, that everybody at the festival flinched a little.
"I had two birthdays like that. You guys didn't ask about my grades, you didn't ask how my day went. I didn't go shopping with you for a dress for the dances at school. You didn't go to any awards that I had won. I can't lie. I'm so hurt by what you guys did to me."
She took a deep breath and composed herself again. At the festival, Mr. Williams had a few tears going down while Mrs. Williams was full on sobbing.
"Violet and Kyle. I'm more disappointed in you than mad. Don't get me wrong, I'm plenty mad. But, I'm a little bit more disappointed. You guys were my big brother and sister. I looked up to you. I wanted to have the traits you guys had. I wanted to be pretty and sweet like you, Vi. I wanted to be strong and leader-like like you, Ky-Ky. When you started to treat me like I was a stranger, I was disappointed in you. You were my heroes."
She sighed and shook her head.
Violet was leaning on Kyle and they both had their heads down, ashamed. They both had alot of tears in their eyes.
"And you, Ryder. You were my mate. My one and only. My soul mate. I can tell you, that with all of your flaws, I would've loved and accepted you, 100%. If you gave me a chance, then we might have had a future."
She had a few tears go down her face again. She sniffeled and wiped the tears away. She straightened and looked towards the camera again.
"Now, the whole pack. Blue Moon Pack. I want to say that I'm also disappointed in you. Not all of you. The ones you would treat their own pack member - your family! - like trash for being different. I hope that you realize you mistake and turn your ways. Luna, you were always so nice to me. I'm grateful for that. I was a non-shifter. You were the Luna. Yet, you still treated me like a daughter. Thank you.
Well, goodbye Blue Moon Pack. You won't find me, you can try. But you won't find me. Head my words. Learn from your mistake and be better. Goodbye, and I love you Mom, Dad, Vi, Ky-Ky, and Ryder. You might think I hate you, but I'll always love you someplace in my heart. Bye forever."
The video went black and the Veteran video came on a few minutes later. Everyone was crying. Even Amber's bullies. The Luna stood up in the front.
"I didn't know she was treated so horribly. I'm very disappointed in all of you."
Was all she said, then she went home with the Alpha.
Slowly everyone left until it was just Amber's family and Ryder.
Amber's family was sobbing while Ryder stared at the ground blankly. They never realized how much they needed and loved her until they let her go.**********************************************************
Okay, I was really sad while writing this chapter, but I think it turned out good. Again, really sad chapter and I almost cried. Well, on the side is a picture of Ziva, Amber's wolf, and the video, Let Her Go by Passenger. (Great song by the way, I love it) I thought it was fitting for this chapter.
Well, hope you have an awesome week, bye you weridos!
