*Shadow's pov*
We got back to the house and she put the horses away before we went into the house "Oh Shadow! There you are you have to get ready!" My mother called taking my hand like I was a 5 year old "I am going to make my baby boy look so spiffy tonight" "Mom" I groaned as (Y\N) giggled. "Well I'm gonna go get ready too. I'll meet you at the barn in a bit" she said running outside and into her black truck.
~Time skip~
We go outside and I head to the barn next to the house "Shadow where are you going?" My mother asked with a confused smile "The barn?" "Oh no honey the barn is a kareoke grill" my mom laughed before I frowned "Wow thanks for being specific (Y\N)" I mumbled to myself as we got in our car and followed everyone to "The barn"
We walk into the restaurant to see a dance floor, a dinning room and a stage where a band stood. "Oh Hi Shadow!" I heard someone say from behind me "Oh hey (Y-" I said turning to see her in a blue silky gown that goes to her knees. With her long (H\C) hair in a braid And light makeup. I starred at her in awe "um Shadow? Hello?" She said waving her hand in my face "Huh? Wha?" "Come back to earth please" she laughed "Oh sorry" "That's okay. Now come on let's go sit down with everybody" she grabbed my hand and led me to the table where everyone waited for us. She chose a spot for us and let go of my hand before I pulled out her chair for her "Oh thank you Shadow. I didn't realize what a gentlemen you were" she said with a giggle. I smiled "Well I do like to be nice to my friends" I said as I pushed her in. I sat next to her and everyone began to mingle. We all told stories and laughed together. After we all ate some of the adults went to the bar the kids went to the arcade in the back and the rest of us went to the dance floor.
*Your pov*
While most of us were dancing or at the bar I stood there watching everyone with a smile. "Hey (Y\N) would you like to dance?" Shadow asked holding his hand out for mine. "Why I'd love to" I said placing my hand in his before he led me onto the dancefloor. Music began to play as we began to dance "You know I've never danced like this before" "Really?" He asked me "No not really. I mean with my dad yeah but it wasn't even 2 minutes long" I giggled "hmm then I'll just have to give you some dancing lessons." "Oh really?" "Yep. Starting now. Lesson one. Always let the man lead" he said before twirling me making me laugh. "Lesson two. Follow his movements and it will go smoothly" he said as we pulled apart and he spinned me back into him as I smiled "Oh thank you sir. I appreciate it very much" I said giggling as he smiled "And lesson three don't be afraid to add a few steps of your own. And lastly Have fun" he smiled as we went to our original position. "Well that was the best class I've ever had" I laughed "Well I'm glad you liked it" he said softly as we continued to dance

We finished dancing and sat at a table chatting and talking about our lives and dreams "So what do you wanna do when you graduate Shadow?" I asked sweetly "Well I'm hoping to open a motorcycle shop where you can repair or paint motorcycles" "That sounds great!" "What do you hope to do?" "Well.... I've always wanted to be a singer. But I can't even get a gig in town." I said a little disappointed "Oh I'm sorry. I wish I co-" "Hey (Y\N) come sing for us!" One of the men said taking my hand "Oh okay" I smiled at Shadow as the young man took me to the stage. Everyone cheered as I stepped onto the stage "Hi everyone. Um what would you like me to sing?" I asked with a slight blush. Everyone shouted the name of the song and I smiled "Okay here we go" I said before the music started "~Since the day they got married, he'd been praying for a little baby, boy"
*Shadow's pov*
"~Since the day they got married. He'd been praying for a little baby, boy" she began to sing and instantly I was blown away. Her voice was mesmerizing. She said that no one would give her a gig? Well then they have no sense in talent what so ever! She sings beautifully.

She finished the song and stepped down from the stage "That was the most awesomest thing I have ever heard in my life!" I cheered as she sat next to me "Thanks. I don't do that much anymore" she said blushing a bit "Well you better sing me a lullaby every night cause that was amazing!" I said as I smiled at her, making her laugh "Well I'll think about that. I mean we only have the summer together so I can't sing to you every night" she giggled. "Well next time you sing I'm gonna have to record it" I laughed before we all went to mingling again
