Three weeks had passed in quiet preparation, sleepless nights, and silent prayers. And today, as the sun dipped behind the horizon and golden hues bathed the city in warmth, Amal finally stepped out of her exam center. Her heart was still racing-not with anxiety, but the adrenaline of completion. The main exam was over.

She took a deep breath, eyes moist, lips curled into a smile. "Ho gaya... finally ho gaya."

As she sat inside the car that Zain had sent for her, she rested her head back, watching the sky change colors, unaware that back home, something was quietly waiting for her.

The gates of the Zain mansion opened slowly. The moment her car halted, she stepped out-tired, but glowing. She looked up at the massive house and sighed, unaware that inside, something more than just walls awaited her.

The mansion gates opened, and as she rang the bell, the door opened almost instantly.

Zain stood there. Tall, sharp in a white shirt with rolled-up sleeves, and a calm smile on his lips that instantly melted her heart.

Before he could even greet her, she crashed into his arms.

"Professor sahab... I did it," she whispered breathlessly. "I gave my exam. I'm so, so, SO excited."

Zain chuckled, hugging her tight.
"I never had a doubt, Amal."

But before she could say more, her eyes caught something behind him - and she froze.

The entire living room of the mansion was bathed in soft, warm lights. Decorations hung gracefully from the ceilings, a beautiful floral centerpiece was placed on the marble table, and on the couch sat her father, mother, and dadi, all dressed elegantly.

She gasped softly, quickly stepping back from Zain and tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

"Baba..." she whispered.

Her father, Syed Imran, stood up, a proud smile on his face.
He opened his arms.

Amal ran into them like a little girl.

"I'm so proud of you, beta," he said, kissing her head. "You've fought for this moment. And you did it."

Her mother embraced her next, gently cupping her face.
"You looked like a warrior walking in. You're glowing."

Her dadi, holding her cane, reached out.
Amal knelt beside her, holding her hand.

"Ab yeh ghar tumhare kamiyabi ke jashn ka hissa ban gaya hai, meri jaan," dadi whispered, eyes wet with emotion.

Amal smiled, heart full.

The Intimate Family Celebration

That evening, under the glass ceiling of the central atrium, a soft dinner was set. Just close family, meaningful food, and laughter. Arzel and Shanaya watched through the tablet screen from overseas, teasing Amal, blowing kisses, and blessing her.

Zain mostly sat quietly beside her, watching.

But every now and then, she'd catch him glancing at her - like she was the only thing in the room that mattered.

That look made her heartbeat skip more than any exam ever had.

At around 11 PM, once dessert had been served,Zain glanced at Amal
from across the room. She was seated between her father and mother, smiling tiredly, her head resting slightly to the side.

He stood up.

"I brought a small gift," he said softly, addressing the room. "For someone who's just made us all very proud."
