Isabella's Point Of View.

I head towards Jake, but this so called Alpha isn't as brave as Alphas usually are.

I took one step and glanced over Shea's way. " Would mind if I had a moment alone with your mate? " I try'd to say as gentle as possible. I mean newly found mates are hard to separate.

She hesitates for what seems like forever. " Ummm. " She says and she looks very uncomfortable and before she can protest I say, " I swear I won't kill him. ".

I would've laughed at Jakes facial expression if it was appropriate enough, but I guess I won't.

I never ask for permission on stuff, but it's my Best friends mate. And for some weird reason I can't bring my self to do something to hurt Shea. She has always been there for me.

"Actually, can we meet up tomorrow? It's Isabella's birthday and I have to do stuff as well." Shea says to Jake.

" Of course Shea. " says Jake sheepishly smiling. Awww, if I didn't feel a need to dislike this kid. I would say he's super cute.

" Thanks. Come on Isabella. " Shea says grabbing my arm. She quickly lets go of me and goes to embrace Jake in a hug.

" Y'all are a cute couple. "

I was heading to the lunch room, I had just passed the TechEd class room. When Jaida Mathews bumped in to my shoulder.

" Excuse you! " Jaida says.

" I wasn't in your way, so you better watch out. I won't feel bad for you the next time you think your bold enough to purposely bump into my shoulder. And tell me excuse you. " I clench my jaw.

" Got it? "

" Yeah, I'm sorry. " Jaida says walking off.

" What's up with you? " Shea says.

" Mhmm. I just feel easily irritated today. Shouldn't I be happy since it's my birthday? "

Shea looks at me like im a vampire ( even though a vampire wouldn't dare to come close to an Alpha's daughter. ) and shrugs, " You need to do a happy dance and rid of this attitude! " She say's pushing me towards the bathroom.

" Sheaaaaaa. No. I refuse to do the happy dance. " I say waaay dramactic.

" If I always have to do it when I'm mad, then so do you. " she says pulling me in the bathroom.

I give in. I mean Shea consists for me to do the happy dance. So I assume I have not a chance to get out of this.

" Sing the song! " Shea says.

I almost roll my eyes but quickly dismiss that thought and go on with the happy dance.

After school Shea offers to take me out for my birthday. I would never say ' no ' to Shea. She hasn't ever said it to me. So ofcourse I agreed.

When we get in the car Shea turns on her radio and sings at the top of her lungs. Gosh she's a fool! But what are best friends for?
