The Wolf Within

Chapter 7

" I said grab her, must I do everything around here you worthless mutts. " the dark haired man repeats.

The auburn haired girl turns around, along with a few other wolfs. I hear a low growl from the woods near the road, ' Shea, I believe you had a good reason to lie to me, but that is not the point. Which one should I take out first? ' Isabella! Ahhh, I told her not to come, yet I've never been so happy to hear her voice.

' Don't growl and cover up your scent, also the red haired auburn girl is pretty chill, don't go for her. Go for the dark haired man, I will lunge when you do. Go for his throat and rip it out, I will pin him down. Got it? ' I quickly reply back through our mind link while making eye contact with the dark haired man. He thinks I'm just scared or confused because he says, " IF your calling for help, they won't be here fast enough. Cause we are leaving now. " he says grabbing my arm.

' Now! Isabella, attack! Remember go for his neck! ' I mind link.

I laugh in his face, " Big mistake. " I say to him.

" Excuse m----- " He gets cut off by Isabella lunging from the woods. Right when she jumps he turns towards her and puts out his arm, trying to block Isabella's bite. But being an Alpha's daughter she has an advantage most wolves do not, enhanced senses. Instead of latching on to his arm, she grabs his shoulder.

I jump and shift, luckily Isabella has him to side tracked, giving me the opportunity to attack his neck. I am almost there, so close and then, I hear a whimper. It wasn't Isabella's whimper, it wasn't mine, it was auburn haired chick.

Crap! She feels his pain, and that means they must be mates. She completely loses her innocent look, and looks outraged.

She immediately goes for Isabella's neck and I don't hesitate to attack, she is so mind set on attacking Isabella she doesn't realize me. I hear a high pitched growl that quickly changes to a whimper. It's Isabella!

' Shea, help me. He's got my throat. ' Isabella mind links me.

I quickly snap auburn girl's neck and pounce on dark haired man, or should I say big dark blueish wolf.

He is on all fours, holding Isabella by her neck, and making eye contact with me. One move and he could easily kill her.

I can't do anything to put my Alpha's daughter in danger. I have to leave this up to the Moon Goddess.

' Give Isabella the strength to fight back, give me the strength to help her. I can't let her die, put my life in danger and protect hers. ' I mind link to our Goddess.

' Shea, you must make the brave move in this moment. You can easily save her life, I am here with you. Act on instinct. Natural instinct. ' says the Goddess.

What does she mean ' natural instinct' ? The only natural instinct I know of is my wolf? I got it! Let my wolf take over.

' Surface girl, take over. Be a wolf, save Isabella. Moon Goddess is with you. You've got this' I say to my wolf.

I feel her taking over, and I soon become swallowed in a deep dark blackness.

******* Isabella's point of view.****

I notice Shea's wolf's eyes go completely black, Shea is no longer in control. I can feel the Moon Goddess's presence, yet I can't see her. Its getting harder and harder to breathe. I know I'm not gonna make it, come on Shea.

' He is trying to suffocate me. ' I mind link to Shea's wolf. She immediately growls and starts circling us.

My eyes start feeling heavy, stay awake, I keep telling my self. ' Take over, I believe in you and Shea's wolf to get us both out alive. Do your thang, be a wolf. ' I tell my wolf.

I feel her surfacing, I soon feel exhaustion take over. Last thing I see is Shea's wolf pounce.

Why is he looking for Isabella?

So many questions to be answered!
