Zayd's POV
Having her in my arms—so close to my heart—I felt something I never thought I would feel: complete. I had asked for her in every dua, every sajdah, every desperate whisper to my Lord... and He gave her to me.
No matter how much I thank Allah, it will never be enough.
He blessed me with one of His most pious servants. Amina. My Amina.
She felt so small in my arms, her face tucked shyly into my chest, like she belonged there—like her place had always been right here. My shy little wife. Ya Allah, I still couldn't believe she was mine.
My eyes fell on the box in front of us, and I swallowed hard, a sudden wave of heat washing over me. I tried to imagine her in it, and then I shook my head, my mind a blur. What's wrong with you, Zayd? My throat felt dry, my voice a little strained. "Amina, will you wear that for me?" I asked, my voice deep and husky.
She stilled in my arms, and I instantly regretted it. I mean... I started to say, but she cut me off. "No," she said, and my heart sank. But then she looked at me with her beautiful, wide and innocent eyes. "I mean... I've never worn something like that before. I feel... shy." she said in a trembling voice, her long lashes fluttering down as a deep blush spread across her face.
I smiled, a soft, loving smile. "My shy queen," I murmured, and gently kissed her nose. She shivered, a tiny tremor that sent a jolt through me. She looked up at me, her hazel eyes completely hypnotizing me, and I felt myself losing control, my resolve slipping away. She bit her lip, a nervous, beautiful gesture, and in that moment, I knew I couldn't hold back.
I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself. She moved a little on my lap, her hips shifting, and the innocent friction took my breath away. Her movements—so innocent, so unaware of their effect—set something inside me alight. She blinked, her long lashes kissing her pink cheeks, her soft lips wet from her own saliva. I licked my lips, a primal instinct, and then, with my thumb, I gently wiped her lower lip. She shivered, her eyes fluttering closed, and when she opened them again, they were dizzy, intoxicating.
She leaned forward, and taking that as the signal, I moved, my lips crashing against hers. I attacked her lips, sucking, pulling her closer with one hand wrapped around her back and the other holding her jaw. I kissed her gently at first, and she began to kiss me back, her hands wrapping around my neck, pulling me closer. I slid my hand under her top, my fingers tracing the curve of her waist. She shivered again, her body reacting to my touch in a way that drove me insane. I gently pinched her waist, and she gasped, her mouth parting just enough for me to slip my tongue inside. Our tongues collided, and the kiss deepened, becoming rougher, more desperate. The heat was building, and my own body was hardening with a need that was becoming impossible to ignore.
I didn't want to hurt her or make her uncomfortable—because she was mine to protect too. So I quickly moved us, gently laying her on the bed, my body hovering over hers, never once breaking the kiss. With my free hand, I found the clasp of her bra and unhooked it. She tapped on my shoulder, a soft, urgent signal, and I broke the kiss, pulling away just enough to look at her.
