She watched as her reflection stared back at her,

Once sparkling deep brown eyes, now rendered empty, dull and hollow...
Up and down came the turn around, back to square one!

Lil Red demands her return, her determined gaze set upon taking her place back,

She deems the opportunity fit, seeing as her vessel once filled, now seems to have developed a leak, drip drip drip, down to the ground,

Emotions left numb, vessel slowly depleting as Red sets her gaze on taking her place back...

She always seems to know when its time,

Time for her return, and the hollow to be filled with Red's destructive ways,
She tries to stop her, however she's succumbing to the hollow,

The hope for survival seems slim again,

But then again, hope is despair, as always drilled in, despair gets you nowhere!

So she is slowly left to watch her reflection, taking her hollow soul in, the fatigue rolling off her shoulders, as she begs foe relief,

Past habits itching to make their return to paint the town in crimson,
How much longer until it takes control?

Does she still have the fight in her against the darkness?

Or will she finally take her last breath and breathe in her darkness, inhale it deep into her lungs until she's consumed by the hunger to want more...

Time is running out, the leak in the vessel getting larger, the gaping hole wanting to be filled,
But with what and at what cost?

Will she patch the wound with silence,
Or pour in the rage Red brings—
thick, metallic, familiar?

Her breath trembles at the edge of surrender,
lungs aching to exhale the scream she swallowed for years.

Red watches, patient,
knowing broken things often forget they were ever whole.

A single drop lands—drip—
not blood, not tears,
just the echo of what was once full.

She kneels before the mirror,
unsure if the reflection is foe or friend,
whispering to the girl behind the glass:

“Is there anything left of me worth saving,
or has Red already won?”
