"Inside Wychwood forest – Oxfordshire, South East England, two armies were confronting each other. It was a stormy day. The fierce wind was roaring through the woods, blowing down all the trees and rolling layer after layer of fine dust. Everything seemed invisible and probably beneficial to one army - the army which was created itself for the sake of destroying mankind and angels to dominate the world. They were vampires; they thirsted for human blood and desired to kill angels.

Jason stood in front of his angels; his sharp eyes looked straight into his enemies as if he would finish them all when they went any further. Nora was behind him; she put her hand on his shoulder to calm him down and her face could tell how much she was worried about what was going to happen here, today. In the era of all histories, she had never witnessed a vast group of vampires daring to fight against angels as she knew full well they could get killed easily by angels. About 100 metres far away but at the opposite position, the vampires led by Austin – a head of all vampires and Ella – his wife appeared much more confident and cockier. Human blood and victory were all what they were looking for so they had no fear for their enemies. Austin took one step forwards, ignoring Jason's facial expressions and laughing out loud with his sarcastic voice:

"Long time no see, Jason! It's my pleasure meeting you at this lovely place which is full of lovely people and angels!"

"Austin, I'm telling you. This is my lands, my people and my angels. If you come any closer, I will cut your head off!"

Austin burst into laughter:

"Oh Jason, just calm! You cannot do anything while you're angry! Well, give me a permission to give you my noble present first!"

Austin changed his kindest face to an evil one with full of brutality.

"Nora!" – Behind his back was echoing scream of his angels. The minute her head was rolling towards his feet, his heart stopped beating for a moment. He turned around and his body suddenly fell down in front of her dead body, shaking violently. She had been right behind him; her hand had been here, on his shoulder.

"That's impossible" – He murmured, throwing a quick scowl towards the vampires. "KILL THEM ALL" – He shouted furiously.

Austin let Ella try out the battle. Even though terrible winds tried to restrain him from coming to her, he still tried to open his strong wings and flied ahead. Vampires were usually faster than angels. After a while, Jason's eyes seemed impossible to catch Ella's movements. He then flapped his wings to control the wind and flied higher through layers of cloud to make tornadoes and fling thousand crosses throughout.

"A!" – Someone behind him screamed slightly and he heard something fall down from where he stood.

That was Ella. Austin ran after Ella but she had been dead already. Her body with a cross on her forehead was on a ground. Jason stood in the sky, looking down at them. Two images of Austin appeared in front of him.

The situation was getting better for Jason as Austin was grieving for his wife. Jason turned out to be as fast as he could. Both his hands held tightly sliver crosses; targeting Austin kneeling down beside Ella's body which was being decomposed.

However, the moment Jason landed, Austin became invisible. The moment Jason landed, Austin became invisible. Jason couldn't believe in his eyes. By now, he could understand why Nora was killed. In his entire life, he didn't see any vampires having the capibilty of going invisible like this.

He stood still for a while, striving to make out where Austin was. Yet he heard him flap his wings around.

"I can smell the insecurity in you, Jason" – The icy wind cut with a bitter voice, a bitter laugh.

"A!" – Jason's belly was gashed. A beam of light was shedding and a flow of white blood was coming out.

Another attack dropped on his face and his hands. Jason fell backwards. Two sliver crosses were flung far away from his reach. His breathe became heavy. Austin appeared and pushed his chest against the ground, burking his neck to death.

"You killed my wife. Now, it is the moment you have to compensate for her!" – Austin raised his husky voice at the top of his lung.

Jason smirked. In a snap, he used his mind to gather all tree branches and made them wooden stakes. Thousands of them out of nowhere were flying then stinging throughout Austin's back. The attack was quick as a ray of lightning.

A loud scream was uttering, echoing the whole forest. All the vampires noticed that their leader was killed. They turned scary and hastened to hide themselves in a usual place into the woods.

Jason stood up. He healed up his wound and finally had a soothing breathe. After all, he set a fire on dead vampires, including Nora in sadness. Through the fire, there was a vaguely distant image of a little girl standing next to a boy crying. The boy looked at Jason with his fierce eyes as if he wanted to swallow him immediately. He didn't even want to run away after seeing his leaders die under Jason's hands. But, perhaps a power of the other the pair of eyes caught his attention. He turned to her and knitted his eyebrows. Her tearful eyes seemed so different that Jason couldn't help staring.

"Jason, I don't think we should keep them alive!" – Aaron – another angel suggested.

"Don't worry! They would cause no harm!" – Then, he walked away.

However, in the middle of the way, he felt something not right in him. He turned around and looked at the girl one more time. "But she could!" – He paused for a while – "Take her with us!"

There was a distant echo coming back from Sean – the boy, the little vampire who desired to kill Jason to get revenge on him for Allison – daughter of Austin and Ella, the most potentially powerful one. Jason as a lead angel who was the most able to predict correctly the future could not even read what was gonna happen from the capabilities she got. But there was something he knew for certain from the eyes he saw that once they got the opportunities to develop, they could destroy the whole world. However, there was still a reason hidden behind the fact...
