🍀"I would like to date Trey." The silence after that was making you anxious, cheeks colored from embarrassment. "We can see that," they all said besides Trey, making you eye them with confusion. Cater wrapped an arm around you, wearing his signature smile, "Well, there was a tea party conversation we had before about who would be the best fit for you and all votes went towards our dear vice dorm leader."

🍀Eyes widen, you turned towards Trey, his face hidden from yours, embarrassed at the situation, rubbing his neck. The attraction you had for Trey started small, remembering back to when you first met him since arriving to this world. He was definitely the mom character of the group, but there was more to him that. The way his eyes shined whenever he made a new pastry always made your heart race, even just listening to him talk about dental habits and taking good care of your teeth was always nice to listen to.

🍀Your fingers twiddle under the table, something that was noticed by both Riddle and Trey—his eyes turning back to look at you, sensing this conversation was making you more and more uncomfortable. "Alright! Let us proceed with this Unbirthday party! Trey, I presume you have a tart prepared?" Happy that Riddle was trying to stir the topic away, he let out a "Yes, dorm leader" heading to go get the tart—his hand rubbing your shoulder for a split second, it was brief but it provided you some comfort. Turning towards Riddle, you mouthed a thanks, which he responded back with a kind smile.

🍀The tart finally arrived, the Unbirthday continuing as planned. Everyone got their slice of the tart and happily munched away, smiles all around. As you went for the last bite, a hand had tapped your shoulder—eyes peering up to see Trey looking down at you with a smile. He leaned close to your ear, "Meet me in the dorm kitchen after this, okay?" Freezing on the spot, fork still in your mouth, you didn't say a word—head nodding softly at him.

🍀After the party was over, you found yourself heading to where Trey told you to go, heart thumping with every step you took. A sweet scent laced with sugar and vanilla filled the air, providing a clear sign that you were getting closer—stopping in front of the wooden door that was opened a crack. Sticking your head in, you glanced around, spotting Trey, wearing a apron, hands covered in flour as he was kneading a large pile of dough in front of him. Giving a soft knock on the door was enough to alert Trey, turning to look at you, face wearing a smile and some flour.

🍀"Ah, you made it. Come inside." He said, crooking his finger at you. Nodding at him, you walked inside, stepping closer and closer to where he was—his hands still kneading into the dough. Once he was done, setting the dough into a baking tray, he turned back to you, kind smile still on his face, along with his glasses, tilted slightly and coated in flour, making you laugh. "Your glasses are dirty." You said, motioning your hand up, trying to clean the flour off of it. Trey gave a laugh, removing his glasses from his face, cleaning them with a cloth.

🍀 As he did that, you wanted to ask him something, "So, what is it you wanted to talk about?" Trey squinted a bit, trying to see you clearly, as he placed the glasses back on his face. "Ah.....well, I wanted to talk about what you said." Oh my sevens! He wanted to take about that?! Feeling your cheeks redden, head dropping down in shame, "Yeah...um...if I made you feel awkward at the party, I deeply apologize." Trey shook his head, "Oh no no. You didn't. I-" He cut himself off, rubbing his neck as he looked away, eyes darting to the ceiling then the floor.

🍀 His eyes then looked back at you, filled with warmth, "I was happy when you said that." Stunned, your mouth dropped open, not expecting that. "You were?" You softly asked—heartbeat dancing in your chest. He nodded, his own face becoming as flushed as yours. Neither one of you spoke, standing close to one another—a bit tense, yet not as awkward as before. A hand—covered in flour, inched closer and closer to your own, fingers weaving their way in. "I would like to go on a date with you as well. We can plan it together. Where would you like to go?"

🍀Your grin stretched so wide—giddy from the joy she felt that he felt the same. Squeezing his hand back, you pulled him closer, wrapping your arms around him in a hug—the mess from his apron getting on your clothes, but you didn't care. "Maybe we could go to your hometown. Would love to see your family's bakery." Trey shook with laughter, finding your actions adorable—returning the hug, nuzzling his head against yours.
