Chapter 13 New Love?

Garroth's POV

ARGHHHH! I wish Zane never CAME!! I would of have Aph to myself! BUT NOOO ZANE HAD TO BARGE IN! Ugh!

I woke up with hatred towards Zane. When I got up I saw Zane and Aph talking and having a good o time. That use to be me and Aph!

Grrrr, Aph doesn't know the TRUE Zane!

"Aph may I talk to you?" I asked coldly.

She looked at Zane and gulped. She then nodded. I grabbed her wrist and walked outside.

"Zane! Why did you pick him?!" I yelled.

"Because I can! I know him a year ago!" She spat back.

"I known him longer! In fact he was the one that is bad! He destroyed most of the villages!" I explained while grinding my jaws.

"WELL HAVEN'T YOU HEARD 'PEOPLE CAN CHANGE GARROTH!" She yelled back "I'M DONE! I'M GOING TO HANG OUT WITH ZANE!"

Without thinking, I slapped her. Zane came out and saw Aph bent down and burst into tears. He came to Aph and hugged her.

"OH LOOK HERE THE NICE BOY IS HERE!" I spat.

"AT LEAST I CHANGED AND DIDN'T SLAP HER!" He replied back angrily.

He took Aph in our hut. While I walked away mad.

Zane's POV (SURPRISE!)

Grrrr. Garroth is so mean! He even slapped Aph! Every time I see Aph like this I just want to comfort her.

"Are you okay, Aph?" I wiped her tears away with my thumb.

"Zane is it t-true you were bad?" She asked whimpering.

"Y-Yes" I sighed.

"Why did you change?" She asked, looking at me.

"I changed because when I saw you, I saw something that I never tried, I always see you making friends, being nice to everyone and for me my dad was harsh to me. He wanted me to become him, I didn't want too, I'm sorry that I lied about my dad sending us to Phoenix Drop" I explained whimpering.

"I forgive you" She replied kissing my cheek.

She fell asleep in my chest. After minutes went by I finally took a nap.

I woke up and saw Aph sleeping peacefully, I was moving, Aph wrapped her arms around me and woke up.

"Hello Aph" I smiled.

"Hi Zane" She replied giggling.

We got up, changed into our swim suits and decided to walk around the island.

"So, do you want to go to the water slide?" I asked.

"Sure!" She beamed.

We got to the biggest water slide! It was worth it!

"Come one Aph!"
I had to persuade Aph do go down. She won't because she was so scared. I wrapped my arms around her waist and sat down with her between my legs. We slid down the slide having a blast!

"This is so fun!" Aph smiled.

"I know right!" I replied smiling.

At the end, we stayed in the water and played around. Aph was tired so I carried her bridal style. We went to our hut to dry off.

"Thanks Zane that was so fun!" Aph exclaimed.

"Thanks Aph that was so fun!" I mocked her.

She giggled and playfully punch my shoulder. I chuckled.

Aph's POV

Zane is a great guy! Other than that JERK named -beep- sorry I don't like saying the JERK's name. Hehehe, anyways Zane has been super sweet to me ever since I arrived to his place. He has been treating me with good care!

I was even poor, I had nothing! He gave me money, clothes, everything I needed! Zane is just to nice to me and I LOVE IT! Most of the time I treat Zane as if he was my brother. When we went to Phoenix Drop, Zane was with me because I was a bit nervous in the village.

We are even BFF's! Although, I notice I've been blushing around Zane lately. Did I fall in love with my best friend? Sure we kissed but it was a mistake! Right? Anyways, when we dried off we sat on his bed.

"Thanks Zane that was so much fun!" I beamed.

"Thanks Aph that was so much fun!" He mocked.

I did 'you did not just mock me face!' face, I playfully punch his arm. He chuckled. I looked deep into Zane's light blue eyes. I feel much nothing I had witness when I look into his eyes than JERK's eyes. What I saw in Zane's eyes was,

He leaned in and so did I. Our moment was disrupted by the JERK.

He growled.

Zane and I glared at the JERK.

"What?" We spat.

He grabbed a knife.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" I screamed.

"What I should of done to Zane long ago!" He yelled back.

He lunged at Zane, he aimed towards the stomach.

I took the blow. It was getting blurry. The one thing I heard was.

"LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE GARROTH!"

All I knew after that was I blacked out.
