Chapter 10: Love Hurts

Normal POV

Creams mother screamed and fainted. Bunnie tried to help her up but it was no use. Sally walked up to the doctor. "So you don't know when she'll be out of it?"

"No, I'm sorry. We're doing everything we possibly can. She just won't wake up and you can't just sit there and shake her arm. It's a coma. Not a nap Ms., you need me to explain to you what a coma is or something?"

He was getting irritated with Sally.

"Do I look stupid to you. I may be pretty but that doesn't dumb me down. I know what a fucking coma is, okay? You understand?! And you're not doing everything y'all possibly can!"

Tears started coming to her eyes.

"Because if y'all really were, then we all would be in her room with her and not out here in this waiting room. She would be talking to us, laughing with us, hugging her boyfriend, and not being in a coma!"

We all looked at her in disbelief. Even Tails stopped his whimpering.

"So go back in there and grab every nurse and doctor you possibly can and get her to wake up because our best friend is gonna wake up or so help me I will take my newly sharpened claws and mess you up!"

Rouge ran up and grabbed Sally.

The doctor jumped and walked off quickly.

"It's just, I was right next to Amy holding her up and I feel like I truly failed her. She was so excited and now look where she is. In this germ infested hospital."

"It's not your fault hon, something went wrong. They was taping the game and half time as well we can see exactly what happened," said Rouge.

"I thought she just fell and that was all," I said.

"She fell, we all know that. But Cream is one of the best girls on the team and can keep her balance," said Rouge.

Knuckles walked over and put his hand on Rouge shoulder.

"What are you saying babe?"

"I might have to do some snooping and spying, my specialty, to find out why she fell. She lost her balance, but it wasn't her fault. Someone threw her off, on purpose."

1 Week Later

Normal POV
I walked onto the bus. Sonic got up so I could get the window seat. Cream hasn't woken up since. It's really getting hard to see Tails upset everyday.

I looked around. Silver was with Blaze and they were talking quietly. They've been a little closer lately. I feel like they are starting to like each other. That's cute.

Rouge and Knuckles are watching a video on his phone. Lately Rouge had been trying to get her hands on the tape but Charmy has been under the weather and can't show it to her.

Sonia and Sticks are sitting together whispering about something but I'm not sure what. They've been doing it a lot lately.

Shadow is sitting with Manic and he looks really depressed. As if he lost his best friend. I have a feeling it has to do with Sonia. Boy can't say two words around her without getting all choked up. But lately he's been looking at me as if he wants to tell me something. I wanna know what it is but he just won't speak.

Sally is waiting for Scourge. She hasn't been that cheerful. She is still blaming herself for what happened last Wednesday. Me and Rouge are trying to cheer her up but it doesn't work very much.

It seems like everyone is doing bad or being secretive since Creams accident.

The one that's doing the worst besides Ms. Vanilla is Tails. He goes to his workshop behind his house and refuses to go with one of us to even see Cream.
